- Wadi Shab - Traveling along the coast from Muscat to Quriyat and across the plateau, the journey reaches Wadi Shab. Before entering Wadi Shab, a boat ride is required, costing 1 OMR/3 USD per person. The tour promises breathtaking views, considered the most beautiful among Muscat tours. Enjoy an easy walk through the Wadi and a picnic. A 40-minute walk through the canyon and lush terraced gardens leads to a series of streams and pools. Here, there is an opportunity to swim in crystal-clear water and navigate through a narrow keyhole into a magnificent cave with an inspiring waterfall. The cave is a magical place. A stop at Fins Beach allows for relaxation before returning to Muscat. (Please note that the wadi is covered with rocks and pebbles, making walking challenging. It is advisable to wear sturdy walking shoes.)

We leave Muscat in the morning and make our way to the wadi. We make a short stop at the Bamah sinkhole where most like to take photos or swim in the lake. We make our way through Fins Beach, a long white-sand beach photo stop, and then arrive at Wadi Shab.

Bimmah Sinkhole and Wadi Shab - Our experience was superb! We booked star tours Oman with our tour guide Khalid Alraqadi. Sinkhole was out of this world with cold water and we manage to see it with few people coz we came early! Khalid manage to bring us ahead before a lot of tourists arrived. Then in Wadi Shab he explained very well what to expect and how long it will take us to reach the place. Water was cold and clean, you can rent lifejackets there and the view was majestic. In the end we manage to reach the airport just in time for our flight. Khalid really manage well out time and we didn’t feel like we in a hurry.

Amazing Day Trip with Khalid – Friendly Guide & Safe Driver - We had a wonderful experience visiting Wadi Shab, Bimmah Sinkhole, and Fins Beach with Star Tours. Everything was well organized, and the trip was very smooth and enjoyable.
Our guide, Khalid AlRaqadi, was truly the highlight of the day. He is very friendly, professional, and a safe driver, which made us feel comfortable throughout the journey. Khalid treated us more like friends than guests.
At Wadi Shab, the entrance boat fee was 1 OMR for a round trip, and what we really appreciated was that Khalid went with us, accompanying us during the hike all the way until the cave. This made us feel very safe and well taken care of, especially since it was our first time there.
He was patient, helpful, and always happy to assist with photos and recommendations. His positive attitude and kindness made the whole experience even more memorable.
Highly recommended Star Tours and especially Khalid AlRaqadi if you are visiting Oman. Thank you for an unforgettable trip ! we would definitely choose him again in the future! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Day trip to Wadi Shab with Said - Spent the day with a lovely local guide Said Al kiyumi. Who picked us up from our hotel and drove us to Wadi Shab. Very beautiful terrain and unique water build ups. Said was a fantastic guide and driver, very helpful and insightful. Highly recommend

Amazing experience - highly recommend Yahya!!! - Our time in Oman was unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Yahya, in Muscat. He showed us so much of the country, from breathtaking mountain views to Wadi Shab, and several beautiful small towns and beaches. Every stop felt intentional and added something special to the overall experience.
Yahya was a fantastic driver and handled both winding mountain roads and city streets with ease, which made the entire trip feel smooth and stress-free. His deep knowledge of Omani history and culture really stood out—he shared interesting stories and insights that made each place we visited come alive.
One of the highlights was seeing how well Yahya knows the local communities. His connections with people in the towns we visited gave the tour a genuine, personal feel that you wouldn’t get from a typical guided trip. He’s also incredibly personable—funny, friendly, and easy to chat with—which made long drives enjoyable. His English is excellent, so communication was never an issue.
I would absolutely recommend Yahya to anyone visiting Oman who wants a reliable, knowledgeable, and engaging guide. He truly made our trip exceptional.

Amazing experience. Worth every penny. - We did the wadi shab tour and our tour guide Nasser was the best. He arrived early to the hotel to pick us up and was super attentive picking up snacks and water before we even realized we needed it. He was super helpful during the hike making sure we all were safe and did not fall. The lunch was great and really worth it and absolutely delicious. The entire experience was one of the best I’ve ever been to and really recommend during a guided tour with guides like Nasser. Worth every penny.

4 Girls makhlou3een - Our trip to Wadi Shab and the Sinkhole was absolutely amazing and honestly unforgettable. We were a group of four girls, and it truly felt like a private tour just for us. From the very beginning, he made us feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of.
He took so much time to answer all of our questions, never rushing us, and was incredibly caring, gentle, and thoughtful throughout the whole experience. He’s such a genuine and kind person, and also it felt so easy and natural talking with him.
He drove us in his car, and along the way we got to introduce him to our culture and our music, which he totally vibed with. That made the experience even more special and fun. You can really tell he loves what he does and cares about the people he’s guiding.
We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better day. Highly, highly recommend, such a nice guy and an incredible experience overall!

First time in Oman and it was amazing - We did the entire tour with Nasser, the best guide we could ask for. He was so attentive and thoughtful and shared so much with us about Omani culture which was very interesting. The activities were also very nice we were a group of 4 friends (female) and we felt very safe the entire trip.
