• Wadi Bani Khalid - At Wadi Bani Khalid, it’s a simple 10–15 minute walk from the parking area to reach the breathtaking emerald pools. This renowned oasis is celebrated for its perennial flowing water, striking rock formations, and natural turquoise pools encircled by rugged mountains. Visitors can swim, unwind, or simply sit by the water and soak in the tranquil atmosphere. For those eager to explore further, a short walk upstream reveals narrow canyons, small waterfalls, and hidden pools—ideal for photos and a touch of adventure.
• Wahiba Sands - After exploring Wadi Bani Khalid, the journey continues to the golden dunes of Wahiba Sands. From the dunes, one can watch 4x4 vehicles engaging in thrilling dune bashing. For those interested in trying it themselves, dune bashing is available as an optional activity. The cost is approximately 35 OMR (95 USD) per car for 1–4 people, payable directly to the desert operator. Please note that dune bashing is not provided with our vehicles, as it requires a professional driver, a specially equipped car, and appropriate insurance. The experience typically lasts around 30 minutes.

The day concludes with a breathtaking sunset over Wahiba Sands while watching the dune bashing vehicles in action, offering a truly magical and unforgettable desert experience.

The journey continues to the awe-inspiring Wahiba Sands Desert, famous for its expansive golden dunes. If time permits, a visit to a traditional Bedouin house is included before the thrilling dune-bashing begins. For those seeking more excitement, camel rides are available directly from the Bedouin owners and can be paid for on-site.

After witnessing the exhilarating dune-bashing and enjoying the enchanting desert sunset, the tour returns to Muscat.
