A wonderful experience - Wadi Shab was wonderful. Requires some physical activity and swimming ability. Camel sunset ride ( optional extra) in Wahiba Sands. Desert was the highlight for us.

Smooth operators - A tailor made trip that included Wadi bin Khalid, a stay over night in the desert, a camel ride and sunset views and finally a balloon flight. The driver Amer was professional and provided apart from Oman history also insights on why people keep camels and cemeteries. 5/5 Communication with him as well as Sunshine tours was smooth using WhatsApp. Would recommend to a friend and use again.

A fantastic 2 days - We had the best 2 days with our guide Yousef. He was incredibly friendly, accommodating and patient. He went above and beyond to show us hidden gems and his hospitality was amazing. We were the only couple, in a private car which we were not expecting.

Amazing Oman trip - It was amazing trip. All went smoothly .We had a lot of stops to enjoy and explore Oman at its max possible. Visit at Wadi Shab was very hard to do ,but with a little preparation, help from our (incredible) guide it worth every second spend there. Dessert sunset and sunrise can not be explained -it was once in a life time experience. Highly recomend Sunshine tours and their representative and our guide for 2 days Mohammed Nabhani.

Sunset in the desert - I signed up for this tour because I wanted to experience sunrise and sunset in the desert. Unfortunately, they told us it was cloudy and we couldn't have a sunset, but our guide khalil took us for a drive, where we could see the sunset between the clouds for a short time. I was so happy to see the guides acting in such a way.

Great tour with an excellent guide - We did a two day tour covering Wadi Shab, Wahiba sands with overnight desert camp and then Wadi Bani Khalid the day after. The tour was perfectly arranged and very well thought out. The timings were sufficient, particularly given that we only had a short amount of time but still wanted to see as much as we could. Wadi Shab involves a 45 minute walk/hike which was quite hard in the heat and sunshine - there is little shade so make sure to take plenty of water, especially if you have children with you. The walk itself isn't too bad, though there are a few areas where the rocks can be slippy or a bit unstable. The incredible views easily make up for it, though. The Wadi itself is stunning. If you are a medium to strong swimmer then you can swim to the cave/waterfall. If not, you can hire life jackets or inflatables, but only at the start of the walk, not when you get to the Wadi. The Wahiba sands were beautiful. The sunset spot was perfect and made for some really good pictures. The overnight stay at the Arabian Oryx camp was great. The villas are really well equipped with comfortable beds and good showers. Best of all there was AC and no bugs (apart from a few ants in the bathroom, which is to be expected given it's the middle of the desert!) Dinner was a really good buffet with some traditional food. The grilled chicken and lamb kofte were my favourite. Wadi Bani Khalid was equally as beautiful as Wadi Shab. The main difference is Wadi Bani Khalid is a lot more open, so I felt more relaxed. There is only a five minute walk to the Wadi, so much easier. The Wadi itself is also a lot bigger than Wadi Shab. We also visited a quaint Bedouin house, which was really interesting to see. As good as all of that was, the thing that really made the tour exceptional was our guide, Abdul Majeed. He was simply excellent. From the very start he made us feel comfortable and was so hospitable. He speaks very good English and explained all of the sites really well. He made sure we were always happy and well hydrated (the fridge in his car was very welcomed!) He always had a smile on his face and was really good with my daughter, who liked his jokes and funny things that he said. Abdul Majeed went above and beyond what we could have expected. Thank you for such a great and unforgettable experience!

Great tour and made even better by an AMAZING tour guide - We had an incredible time on the 2 day and overnight tour - our guide Abdulmajeed was THE BEST! He made our tour so very memorable and was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited. He went out of his way to make our trip special and we really appreciated it. The wadi shab tour was beautiful - a real gem! The desert camp stay was a lovely experience with great food and bbq at dinner and a clear starry night! We would highly recommend this tour and our tour guide for anyone considering!
