- Jebel Akhdar - Al Suwjara Village began with a single family and has since expanded into old and new sections. The new village is about a 20-minute hike from the old one. While four-wheel-drive vehicles can reach the new village, accessing the old village requires descending one side of the mountain, crossing a wooden bridge, and climbing another to reach the historic homes. The Cliff Guest House, which started with one room, has become a popular destination for travelers to Jebel Akhdar. It now boasts seven rooms, with more renovations underway, offering stunning mountain cliff views. Built in a traditional style using mountain stone, the guest house features various suites, double rooms, and twin rooms, all equipped with modern bathrooms and beds for guest comfort. Meals are prepared by the family of Mohammed al Shu reiki. The Cliff Guest House provides an opportunity to enjoy nature. Al Suwjara Village, over 500 years old, derives its name from the sugar trees found there.
