Bimmah Sinkhole – Fins Beach – Wadi Shab – Wadi Tiwi – Ras Al Hadd
Bimmah Sinkhole - Departing from Muscat at approximately 8:30 AM, the first destination is the Bimmah Sinkhole, a large crater near the sea with a small lake at its base, believed to have been formed by a meteor.
Fins Beach - The next stop is Fins Beach, known for its strikingly white sands, curious pebbles, and stunningly blue waters.
Wadi Shab - The journey continues to Wadi Shab, a vast canyon gorge lined with palm trees, showcasing the impressive power of water descending from the mountains. After a 35-minute hike through the canyon, visitors reach several crystal-clear water pools. Tourists can swim through the warm waters from pool to pool, eventually reaching the last pool where an opening among the massive rocks allows swimming into a breathtaking crevice cave with a small waterfall. Inside, sunlight filters in, turning the water a beautiful turquoise blue as water cascades down one side of the cave from the wadi beyond.
Wadi Tiwi - The next stop is a photo opportunity at Wadi Tiwi, named after the coastal village of Tiwi. This beautiful wadi, with its lush plantations, offers a greener feel compared to many other wadis.
Ras al Hadd Castle - The beaches at Ras al Hadd and nearby Ra’s al-Jinz are renowned as breeding grounds for green sea turtles. (Overnight stay)
Sur – Dhow Factory – Omani Ghazal Farm – Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba Sands Desert
Sur - After breakfast, depart the hotel and drive to Sur. In the morning, explore the City of Sur, featuring some old fortresses.
Dhow Factory - Visit the famous Arabian Dhow Factory, where traditional wooden Dhows are constructed.
Sur - Continue the journey to the Omani Ghazal Farm in Al Kamel (Asilel Farm).
Wadi Bani Khalid - Proceed to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the largest and most beautiful wadis in Oman. Here, visitors can swim, sunbathe, relax, and enjoy a picnic amidst the scenic wadi canyons.
Wahiba Sands - The journey continues to the desert camp in the Wahiba Sands desert, where guests can relax or embark on an adventurous 4×4 drive in the sand dunes. Witness the stunning desert sunset from one of the large sand dunes. The day concludes with dinner at the camp and a romantic time around a campfire. Overnight stay at Wahiba Sands Desert, with opportunities to watch the sunset and sunrise from the dunes.
Nizwa Fort - Nizwa Souk - Birkat AL Mouz - Irrigation System of Al Kattmyn - Jebel Akhdar
Nizwa Fort Oman - Witness the sunrise early in the morning from the dunes before breakfast. Depart the hotel at approximately 8:30 AM and drive to Nizwa, the former capital of Oman, home to the famous Nizwa Fort. The fort serves as a museum and offers splendid views of the ancient town and surrounding mountains.
Nizwa Souk - Take a break at Nizwa Souk to browse and purchase Omani silver crafts and other beautiful handmade items.
Birkat Al Mouz - Drive towards Birkat Al Mouz, a unique village nestled into a mountain face, located in the wilayat of Nizwa in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate of Oman.
Aflaj Irrigation Systems of Oman - The Irrigation system of Al Kattmyn, one of the five Irrigation Systems of Oman, was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 2006. Continue the drive up to Jebel Akhdar.
Jebel Akhdar - Jebel Akhdar, also known as the Green Mountain, is part of the Al Hajar Mountains range in the Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate of Oman. It rises to a height of 2,980 meters and encompasses the Saiq Plateau at 2,000 meters above sea level. Proceed to the hotel.
Al Hamra Old Village – Misfah Al Abryeen – Jebel Shams - Back to Muscat
Al Hamra - After breakfast, depart from the hotel and drive to Al Hamra Old Village, where visitors can experience the traditional lifestyle of the locals in earlier times.
Misfah al Abriyyin - Next, visit the mountain village of Misfah Al Abryeen, home to some of the oldest preserved houses in Oman.
Jebel Shams - Jebel Shams, known as the Grand Canyon of Oman, is stated by the Ministry of Tourism, Sultanate of Oman, to be 3,009 meters (9,872 feet) high. Afterwards, return to Muscat.
