MUSCAT CITY TOUR

Muscat - Muscat offers a perfect blend of traditional and cultural experiences alongside modern living in Oman. The tour begins with a visit to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque (closed on Fridays), one of the largest mosques in the region, where a specific dress code is required. The journey continues to the historic part of Muscat, with a potential photo stop at the Royal Opera House Muscat, time permitting. In Muttrah, explore the oldest traditional market in Oman, the Muttrah Souq. Next, visit the Bait AL ZUBAIR Museum. The final stop is Al Alam Palace, one of the Sultan’s palaces, flanked by the Portuguese forts Al Mirani and Al Jalali.

NIZWA

Nizwa - Departing Muscat early in the morning, the tour heads to Nizwa, passing through plains, mountains, and rocky landscapes. Nizwa, a former capital, begins its tour with a visit to Nizwa’s traditional Souq, which includes various markets such as goats, dates, halwa, fruits and vegetables, and the popular crafts market. From the Souq, walk to the most visited fort in Oman, the Nizwa Fort. Following the fort visit, enjoy an electric car ride to explore the old town, with a break for Omani dates and coffee. After lunch, the return journey to Muscat begins. If time permits, there will be a stop at a world heritage site, Al Khatmain Falaj, in Birkat Al Mouz, where visitors can walk through banana and palm tree farms and discover the old part of this tranquil village.

WADI SHAB & Bimah Sinkhole

Wadi Shab - Departing Muscat via the SUR road towards WADI SHAB, visitors can enjoy Oman’s natural beauty, perfect for swimming in the pools and hiking. With breathtaking views, a spectacular entrance, a natural pool, and lush vegetation, this wadi is one of the most beautiful places in Oman. A 45-minute walk is required to reach the emerald water pool, an ideal spot for a refreshing swim. Stop at Wadi Tiwi for a photo opportunity, then visit the sinkhole, a part of a collapsed mountain filled with water.
