Great day - This was recommended as a ‘must do’ whilst on Rarotonga, the experience lived up to its reputation and the endless positive reviews. The team are brilliant at what they do, you are made to feel welcome, safe and invested in the entertainment. Nice snorkelling out from the lagoon then back to the island for lunch, freshly barbecued fish, sausages, banana and a range of side dishes and salads. This was followed by some entertainment with great humour and more swimming - 10/10

Snorkeling galore - Funny team and excellent experience.
The team made sure that you are safe and had loads of fun. The food was very good.

Must Do Captain Tama's! - This a MUST DO! on your list when going to Rarotonga, from the time you arrive to the time you depart you will love every moment. Snorkeling in the lagoon was beatiful and the feast that was prepared on the island was worth the tour alone.
Special acknowledgemens to all the captains who are multi-talented and kept us entertained from the beginning to the end, my cheeks hurt from all the laughing.
Highy recommend, I have been three times already and will go everytime i return to Rarotonga.

10/10 must do! - There was a large group of our whānau that came to Captain Tama’s today and we all left on a high. You can feel the good energy as you’re arriving in your vehicle and just know it’s gonna be a good one, and that’s exactly what we experienced today. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the boat ride, to the stories, the yummy kai and hospitality towards our whānau and everyone else onboard! Would highly recommend.

Never again - I would not recommend this at all . I went with my 2 teenage children , there were 3 boats that left and only one had the live entertainment, the boat I was on had one guy talking and you could not hear a word he said . The snorkeling was horrible , there was no fish and one turtle , it’s better snorkeling for free off Muri beach , saw three turtles and much more fish than this tour. It’s a total cash crab and they billed me twice advising to contact the third party website to get my refund . It’s laid back for sure but for $350 for 3 people with a meal that cost $20 each on the mainland I feel completely ripped off . They sell this trip as a snorkeling paradise it’s absolutely rubbish , much better off any resort on the beach on the west coast of the island . I couldn’t wait for it to be over was such a rip off and still waiting for my money to be refunded . My tip is to save your money , get a free snorkel and mask from your resort and a $20 lunch from any resort locally and head to the water anywhere on the west side of the island for amazing snorkeling . It was a massive disappointment not to have any live entertainment on the boat we were on , this should be fully disclosed at time of booking as 2 out of 3 of the boats did not have any live performances and this is what we were sold on initially . Would never do again and never recommend.
