Tour given with real heart and emotion by Josh… - This tour was everything I was hoping it would be and more. Josh was very well educated on the impact this period in history had on the city and the people who were there. You will see a lot of incredibly relevant places that help give you a better understanding of what a significant tragedy this was.

Bridgit Was Amazing - Bridgit, a local guide and not an ex-pat, gave us a terrific tour. She was very knowledgeable about subject matter, interjecting her local family history, which made it much more interesting, as she learned much information first hand. She also had an ipad with pictures to illustrate some topics, which made it very easy to understand. The amount of people on the tour was 15 which was not too many and made it easy to hear the guide and follow along. The walk itself was not strenuous and easy to do. We liked the fact that this tour was not offered to children under 12 years. The tour was 2:45, which was a bit long, but because the guide was so engaging it was ok. It was well worth the price paid.

Highly recommended: tough topic presented excellently - Josh is an excellent and very proficient guide! He gets across this complex and difficult historic topic in a way people with different pre-knowledge levels can follow. Reports balanced about Germans supporting, following and opposing the Nazi movement. Provides greater historic context if required in a brief but understandable way. Takes time to answer each and every question from the group. Also explains how Germans have dealt with this part of their history since the end of the war - and why they are still not done yet.

Very knowledgeable tour guide - Our tour guide Josh was very knowledgable. He was engaging and delivered the history very well and very respectfully. He was a bit late due to some kind of mixup at their offices but all good, we found him quickly when he arrived. He was friendly and chatty and happy to answer any questions. Be prepared to be standing the entire 2.45 hours and dress appropriately.
