- Marienplatz - Although it may not be immediately apparent in the pristine and stylish city of Munich, this location was the birthplace of graffiti in Germany during the 1980s. The first “Pieces,” the first “Wholetrain,” and the first Hall of Fame originated here. Many of the original artists remain active today. This tour will showcase some of the temporary, ever-evolving artworks by both the “old masters” and emerging street artists.
- Isar - Steering clear of the tourist crowds, the tour follows the vibrant trail by bike, starting along the Isar River and continuing through the former working-class neighborhood of Giesing to the slaughterhouse district.
During the colder months (from November), participants can explore on foot and use public transportation through Berg-am-Laim, the district known for providing the bricks for the Frauenkirche, leading to the Werksviertel on the site of the former Pfanni factory.
