Busy and Enjoyable - The city experience is interesting; tour guide was helpful in pointing out the old parts of the city and provided the history of reconstruction. I valued the visit to the rally grounds and the contextual information about it. It answered many questions I've always had.

Wonderful day trip with an awesome guide! - We had the Nuremberg day trip with our guide Sarah who was very friend and cheerful! From the start, made a clear itinerary and set expectations of what we're going to do during the tour. She made sure that everyone was comfortable with the pace since there's a lot of walk involved, and she very knowledgeable about the Third Reich and the history of Nuremburg. The tour itself is outstanding. Reminders were sent promptly after booking, and I really didn't have to think of anything since everything has been pre-arranged by Radius. We just followed Sarah, took A LOT of photos, and enjoyed the day at Nuremburg. Though we didn't enter each church and the castle (due to time constraints of course, very understandable), i felt like I've seen everything i needed to see in Nuremburg. It's was fun and easy day! Will definitely recommend to all. Again, compliments to Sarah for making it such a fun tour!

Great Tour - Very well scripted tour - our guide kept us organized between trains and shuttles - not sure how he kept track of us. Great history lesson and honestly gave us new vision around world war II - much different than taught in school. We made some new friends and hopefully future plans for Germany! Great job!

We learned so much and expanded our appreciation of German history! - Our guide, Jason, was knowledgeable and friendly. Our small group size allowed us to get a deep understanding of the importance of Nuremberg in German history. Additionally, Jason was able to describe his experience as an ex-pat living in Germany, which helped us understand and appreciate many cultural differences and nuances about German life. Just a great experience, all around. Also, Nuremberg is a beautiful little town.

Fantastic locations but a lot of walking - When we booked this tour it didn’t mention anything by train. This was a full day of walking and public transport, which we weren’t expecting. The guide was very knowledgeable and quite animated. Our original tour description said we would cover the old town and then we had the option to do the rally grounds, but the order was reversed. It didn’t matter for us, but it impacted others in the group that hadn’t wanted to see the rally grounds. The locations were very interesting and our guide Achim filled us in on a lot of fantastic history. His speed of delivery was tricky for the non-native English speakers though. He also walked very quickly and it felt like a task to keep up at times. The tour did allow some free time in the Old Town area which was amazing.

Historic Nuremburg - This was a day tour involving travel by train between Munich and Nuremburg. Our guide Sarah was very informative who managed to do a very good job of giving our group a condensed history of the city. The city has a good combination of modern and medieval buildings the latter of which is very interesting. Travellers should be mindful of the fact that the city is built on hilly ground and need to take care if they are prone to joint issues or have any respiratory conditions.

Good historical... - Good historical information about Hitler and WWII, but tour guide was abrasive, impolite and egotistical. It’s was obvious he did not like Americans.

Please read before you book-not worth a penny! - Where to begin. The tour was described as leaving time for lunch in Nuremberg. Nothing could have been further from the truth. First, the tour starts at 10:30 leaving virtually no time to do anything. After a two hour train ride our guide, Achim, left the train station going 100 miles an hour. He never looked back until he hit the street. There were 23 of us on the tour. Thankfully everyone managed to keep up. Once we got into the old town, he was rapid fire at every stop. When we finally got to the middle of town, he gave us two choices. Either stay in town for a couple of hours and meet him at the train station or go on with him to the Nazi parade grounds. There was literally 10 minutes in between. Two people did manage to get a sausage and eat it on the city bus to the parade grounds. Once at the parade grounds, it was hurry up and rush. Only eight of us elected to go to the parade grounds. Once finished, we learned our train back to Munich had been canceled. Our guide did find another train that left around the same time but because the people that stayed in town had to make it back to the train station on their own and because the train got canceled he lost five of the group. They did not make the other train back and for all we know they got stuck in Nuremberg. You would think that the Guide would have put us all on a WhatsApp group or given us his personal phone number since he separated the two groups and left the one group to get back to the train station on their own. I’m sure they had no way to contact anybody. I can’t imagine how pissed off they were. I can’t wait to read their reviews. We finally made it back to Munich only a half hour late. If you want the most rushed tour that you have ever been on with absolutely zero free time for lunch or whatever and a two hour train ride each way, this is the tour for you. I have used Viator all over the world with great experiences. This is the absolute worst tour I have ever taken with any tour group anywhere. Don’t waste your money. And pray for those poor bastards that got left in Nuremberg that they made it home safely.
