Great Tour - Very well scripted tour - our guide kept us organized between trains and shuttles - not sure how he kept track of us. Great history lesson and honestly gave us new vision around world war II - much different than taught in school. We made some new friends and hopefully future plans for Germany! Great job!

We learned so much and expanded our appreciation of German history! - Our guide, Jason, was knowledgeable and friendly. Our small group size allowed us to get a deep understanding of the importance of Nuremberg in German history. Additionally, Jason was able to describe his experience as an ex-pat living in Germany, which helped us understand and appreciate many cultural differences and nuances about German life. Just a great experience, all around. Also, Nuremberg is a beautiful little town.

Delightful and informative tour - The day trip to Nuremberg from Munich was fantastic. Jason was a perfect guide. He was deeply knowledgeable about Nuremberg’s history, from the Middle Ages to the present day, and very engaging in his presentations of the information. The city is fascinating, and, especially in the Old Town, beautiful. The stops were well chosen and the timing was nice—not too rushed, but not dragging in any one spot either. My husband and I wanted to see a spot that was not scheduled as part of the tour, and Jason was incredibly helpful in enabling us to do so over the lunch break, going out of his way to make it easy. Highly recommended!

Great day trips from Munich - Our guide Jason led us on a great tour of Nuremberg. Leading us on trains. busses and trams, he explained the city's rich history as he pointed out one beautiful site after another. He helped us chose the right restaurants for lunch to try Nuremburg's famous bratwurst and the local Rotbier. Thanks for a great day.

Nuremberg tour with an expert - Achim was our guide to Nuremberg and he was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable. I wish we had more time with him to explore more of Nuremberg and the Nuremberg trials. We did a 1 hour walking tour of the Nazi party rally grounds then went to old town. There we were given an option to explore the city on our own or have him give us a tour. We opted to have lunch at one of his suggestion then walk around on our own.

Nuremburg Tour - Really enjoyed visiting the Third Reich party rally grounds. Could have done with more time in the old city though, felt rushed and only had 15 minutes to grab some lunch or would not have seen any of the sights in the old city. Walking pace was high, not a problem we me but some of the older people on the tour struggled to keep up. Tour started in Munich at 10.30am, to have had more time in the city it really would have benefited from starting earlier. Our guide was very attentive and knowledgeable.

Good guide, bad organization - First, the website offered a tour of the historic center followed by another to the zeppelin field and congresshalle after lunch. The reality has been that after arriving in Nuremberg, quite late, we have made the tour of the zeppelin countryside with extensive explanations, which has left us a few minutes to eat and has not given us time, like most of the group, to join the tour of the historic center that we have had to make on our own, quickly and without guide. Our impression is that the activity should start much earlier to have time for both tours and enough time to eat. To emphasize that despite the organization, the explanations of the guide have been excellent.

Worst Guide Ever - I've taken many tours with Viator both in the US and abroad and have always had an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, I can't say that about this one. Our guide Achim looked like he just rolled out of bed, he was late getting the tour started so we practically had to run to the train station. Once on the train we realized there was no a/c and it was over 90 degrees inside. After reaching Hamburg he again was walking so fast that many on the tour couldn't keep up leaving some people over 100 yards behind. Luckily there was a tour trainee who stayed back to help them since he never even turned around to check. While on the tour he mainly talked about himself and his family history and his dislike for the US and Donald Trump. By the time he finished there was only about an hour left for people to go to Old Town to sightsee and shop which was what most had come to do. We only had enough time to grab something to drink and do a quick look around before we had to again run back to the train station, in the process losing 2 members of the tour who barely made it back to catch the train. The next time we saw him was back at the station in Munich where he had his hand out looking for a tip, which I gave to the trainee, thank god for her.

Would not recommend this... - Would not recommend this tour to anyone. Start time of 10:30 was too late. The original tour time stated 8:30. Too much emphasis by the tour guide Achim on Nazi history and his personal history trying to convince everyone he was not a Nazi. Less than an hour in old town Nuremburg which did not allow for enough time to explore, eat and shop. Tour guide Achim would not wait on participants and kept a very fast pace making it hard for everyone to keep up. He left 2 participants behind at the rail station. We have taken a lot of tours in the past this one is by far the worst tour we have ever taken. Only reason we gave a one star is because zero was not an option.
