Stress free way to see the castles! - Ideal trip out to see the castles. I’m pleased with this trip, the service, and our tour guide (Marcus). It was easy, convenient, and Marcus gave our small group (12) an informative tour with ample time for our stops. Definitely recommend and merci Marcus!

A Great Day Out. - I really enjoyed it. Not only were the castles fascinating but so was the trip through the "winter wonderland". The cross country skiers were a bonus. It met every expectation and Gerde was a great host!

Beautiful history - Manua and Elizabeth were amazing, we enjoyed the tour very much! Heads up that the walk up to the second castle is no joke, but doable if you’re prepared!

Magical trip to Neuschwanstein - Lovely to visit with snow on the ground. Linderhof Palace tour was very informative. Couldn't go into Neuschwanstein as the steps and walking would be too much. Our guide gave us an alternative and we were able to get a good view of the castle and take some great photographs. Lovely lunch at Ludwig's Stüberl. A few good souvenir shops also. Shuttle bus to Marien bridge cheap and every 20 mins.

Great way to see 2 castles in one day! - This is a great way to get out of Munich to see Neuschwanstein castle and Linderhoff palace if you don’t have a car to drive yourself. It costs about the same as renting a car for the day and you don’t have to drive/navigate yourself. It was very well organized. You just buy your castle tour tickets on the bus directly from the tour guide. Our tour guide Marcus was very nice, helpful and well organized. He had his little dog with him who was extremely cute and loved to get pets from everyone, he was a great little “assistant”. We had plenty of time at each place and we were even able to stop in the town Oberammergau for some souvenir shopping. There was enough time near Neuschwanstein for a leisurely lunch and getting up to the castle. We went in the winter, so unfortunately the Linderhoff gardens are closed and the marien bridge by Neuschwanstein is closed. But the plus of going in the winter is there are much less tourist crowds! We took the horse carriage up to Neuschwanstein and walked back down. The shuttle bus does not run in the winter. Wear good walking shoes for this! The coach was comfortable and we were provided water at the beginning and a small snack at the end for the ride back to Munich. I highly recommend going inside Linderhoff, and if you’ve never been in Neuschwanstein, you should just go in. Ludwig II was a, to put it politely, very interesting person. And experiencing both castles gives you an appreciation for who he was as a person. I would recommend this tour for anyone spending a short time in Munich who would like to see the most famous castles in Bavaria!
