• Stachus - The meeting point is at 8:45 a.m. at Sonnenstrasse 1, 80331 Munich. Look for the tour bus labeled “Mentor Reisen,” where the welcoming driver and guide will assist you with check-in. Departure is scheduled for 9:00 a.m., and the journey will include passing by several notable Munich landmarks, which the guide will describe, en route to the first stop, Linderhof Palace.

• Schloss Linderhof - Arrival at Linderhof Palace is expected around 11 a.m. You can explore the palace gardens independently before heading to the entrance. This smallest, fully furnished palace was constructed in the 19th century, showcasing French Rococo and Baroque styles, with influences from the Palace of Versailles evident in both its architecture and gardens. The English-guided tour begins at 11:10 a.m. and lasts approximately 30 minutes. The tour bus will depart at 12:00 p.m.

• Oberammergau - Situated between Linderhof Palace and the village of Hohenschwangau, near Neuschwanstein Castle, is the artistic village of Oberammergau. Renowned for its facade painting (Lüftl-Malerei) and woodcarving, it is also famous for the Passion Plays held every decade, depicting the final week of Jesus’ life from Palm Sunday to Easter. A coach tour of the town will allow for a more comprehensive view than a brief stop.

• Schloss Neuschwanstein - After a 50-minute bus ride, arrival in Hohenschwangau is anticipated. The guide will collect skip-the-line tickets for Neuschwanstein Castle. Following this, there will be free time for lunch at local restaurants, a walk to Hohenschwangau Castle, or a stroll by the Alpsee. The Marienbridge offers a breathtaking view of Neuschwanstein Castle, weather permitting. Access to Neuschwanstein Castle is possible on foot (a 30-40 minute uphill walk), by shuttle bus, or by horse-drawn carriage for a fee. The guide will provide detailed information. The guided tour of Neuschwanstein Castle starts shortly after 4:00 PM and lasts about 25 minutes with an audio guide. After the tour, please return directly to the tour bus. The return journey to Munich is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
