Following this, a culinary adventure through the old town begins.

• A refreshing or warming welcome drink, tailored to the season
• Traditional Munich Pfennigmuckerl from the Hofkunstmühle
• A guided beer tasting featuring 3 x 0.1 l samples, accompanied by Munich’s finest obazdn and double-baked farmer’s crust bread
• A delightful surprise from Alfons Schuhbeck at Platzl
• Award-winning white sausage from the butcher’s row, served with sweet mustard
• Freshly baked lard from Café Frischhut
After enjoying the welcome drink, the tour proceeds to the Hofkunstmühle, Munich’s oldest mill, where fresh wheat flour is produced daily. Here, participants can sample an Altmünchner specialty, the Pfennigmuckerl. The tour then moves on to a beer tasting, featuring three small beers from various breweries. Participants can try their hand at being a beer sommelier! Two types of Obazdn from Viktualienmarkt are served with double-baked farmer’s bread. The award-winning Bäckerliesl bread, known for its intense crust, is also available at Viktualienmarkt and offers a true taste sensation.
The tour continues to Platzl, where a brief visit to Alfons Schuhbeck’s chocolate shop includes a delightful surprise. The journey proceeds through Platzl towards Viktualienmarkt, where an award-winning white sausage awaits at the charming Munich butcher row, accompanied by fresh pretzels and sweet mustard. Following tradition, participants will separate the white sausage like true, seasoned Munichers. After a brief stop at Viktualienmarkt, the tour reaches its sweet finale: the lard noodle. At the renowned Café Frischhut, participants can watch as stripping, striezer, donuts, or tube noodles are freshly baked. These warm, sugar-coated treats provide a perfect conclusion to the tour.
