Wonderful foodie afternoon - Hugo was an amazing guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the local cuisine. We tasted close to 20 different foods - ranging from breakfast to dessert - and learned about their history and origins. The afternoon was laid back and unhurried. Hugo offered many fun facts and travel tips throughout the afternoon. Definitely recommend! Tip: do not eat a big breakfast before going on this tour!

MUST DO! - Victoria was absolutely incredible and this tour was even better than we could have imagined. Victoria was thoughtful, intelligent, and made an effort to get to know us personally. Of course, the food and drink selections were great but the people make the experience over the top! We ate delicious food and learned so much about the historical context behind each item. Victoria helped us try new things, but also made sure we were comfortable at every turn. This tour was the perfect amount of time and a great value. I would absolutely do it again in the future. She even went out of her way to walk us to our next destination for the day so we would not get lost. She is a gem!!! Thank you Victoria for a great experience!

Great way to start our honeymoon! - My wife and I had a great time visiting the market with Katrina as our guide. We went at a slow period, so it was just the two of us, but she made it a very fun and engaging time. The tour lasted about 3 hours, as expected, and we tried lots of different foods, as Katrina guided us through. I enjoyed learning about the different sausages and mustards, some of the "rules" of Munich, and just getting to hang out with someone from the region. I think it was well worth the cost given the amount of food and attention that goes into the tour. Thanks Katrina!

Fun Time at Foodie Tour - Our tour guide, Sophie, was an absolute gem. She listened to our physical limitations and adjusted the tour to accommodate us. Sophie took us to view the Glockenspiel and explained what we were viewing. From there we were treated to the local pastry, schmalznudel auszogne. Through the farmers market to a restaurant where our brunch consisted of wheat beer, sausages, warm potato salad, sauerkraut, and pretzels. All of it was the best we’ve ever had. Sophie then led us to a lovely store that featured honey products. We sampled honey wine (served warmed or chilled) . From the farmers stalls Sophie brought us grapes and cheese, which we drizzled with vanilla honey. The tour finished with Turkish baklava, which was so delicious! Even though our tour was on a Saturday and the market was crowded, Sophie’s planning and maneuvering made everything accessible. The tour lasted 3 hours and was easily some of the best time we had in Munich. Highly recommend this tour.

AMAZING & CAN'T MISS for groups of all sizes and ages! - Our group of 6 (2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 seniors) were in Europe for 10 days, roughly splitting our time between Paris and Munich, and with each day, we had a tour planned of some sort. I can say, without question, that this was to the best, most relaxed, and FUN tour we did the entire trip!!! Our tour guides, Victoria and Tony, were a blast to be with. They not only showed us so many delicious food spots in the Viktualienmarkt, but they also peppered the tour with history and fun side activities. Every single thing we ate was delicious (and included in the price of the tour), and we ended up returning to a number of the spots on our last day of our trip since they were so memorable. One concern I had coming into the tour was that we would just get a teeny sample and then be encouraged to spend more money at the shops. NOPE! None of that - a very fun, straight forward eating tour of German delights spanning meats, cheeses, pastries, fruits, desserts, and alcohol (for the adults, and delicious authentic options for our kids). Also, it's very low impact from a walking standpoint, making it perfect for the seniors in the group. If you're planning a group trip to Europe of any sort, I HIGHLY recommend booking this tour with BlackBook Tours! You will not regret it!!!
