Very well done - Great Tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and communicated well. this tour was just the right amount of time. My sister and I both agreed that taking this tour was the best way to see Dachau because it would have been too overwhelming otherwise. The place is sobering as it is and having a guide made it easier. Our guide did a great job of taking us through all of the important history of the place. would recommend this tour to everyone.

James is an outstanding guide! - I can’t imagine a more effective tour guide for this experience. Getting to Dachau from Munich involves traveling by train and then bus. James expertly led us through this process to minimize wait times using his knowledge of the transportation system, including things like which end of the train platforms were the best to wait. When we did have short waits for the next leg, he filled that time by sharing his deep knowledge of the history of the Nazi party. Once we arrived at Dachau, James’s experience was again evident. He led us through a somewhat crowded site, adjusting the tour on the fly to avoid places already crowded with other groups while still ensuring we saw everything. In addition to his expertise on these “mechanics” of leading a group, James clearly has a deep understanding of the history here and a passion for ensuring guests understand the horror of what happened here. His in-depth understanding of the Holocaust and what led to it was more than I expected and greatly appreciated.

An education for every person to understand & to never allow it to occur again. - Knowledgeable professional tour guide Mark Pearson who spoke with heart & sensitivity. A tour that is equally harrowing in content & important in relevance. Highly recommend- travelled by local train & bus & was well organised. Only trip for travellers Dachau was bleak & freezing cold!
