Profound experience - highly recommend - This tour was a profound experience. We thought we generally knew about German WWII concentration camps, but we had no idea about much of the information presented. Our guide Alan was excellent! He spoke perfect English and was so very knowledgeable. We walked around every aspect of Dachau; it was moving, terrifying, and critically important. We were never rushed, but Alan kept us at a pace that we could see and absorb it all. As difficult as it was to see the horrors of Dachau, everyone should take a tour like this to learn from the past and help ensure we never again come close to Hitler's Nazi terrors. We were surprised to see some people with young kids. No child should be brought to Dachua - they are just a distraction to other folks and they shouldn't see the photos, etc. Highly recommend!

Guided Dachau Tour - Excellent experience! Our guide Alun was very knowledgeable and organized with our tour. It is a very somber experience and Alun does a fantastic job providing the history and context of this horrifying piece of history. I only wish we had more time in the museum which you experience at the end of the tour.

Understanding How it all Started - We met under the glockenspiel our guide Alun led us to train for our twenty minute ride to Dachou while explaining what we were about to see.then a short bus ride to the memorial. He walked us up to each exhibit explaining what was inside . He gave us time to walk through each building and answered questions. At the end he gave us approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to view the museum or to go back to something we wanted to spend more time at. Then the bus and train back to our starting point reflecting on what we had seen and how it all started.

It was a sobering experience to witness but a remembrance of the victims and survivors. Would recommend Alum as the guide. You take a train and quick bus ride to the town and all your questions are answered during the tour. Very well done with a great deal of reapect.
