The castle, designed in the refined French Rococo style, includes a Moorish pavilion, which can be explored during a one-hour visit.
Visitors have the opportunity to join a guided tour of the castle’s splendid interior, showcasing the opulent rooms and intricate palace design. The guided tour lasts approximately 25 minutes. Afterward, enjoy the impressive castle gardens, take a leisurely walk through the beautiful grounds, and capture stunning photos of the castle and its surroundings.
- Oberammergau - Experience a scenic bus ride through the charming alpine village of Oberammergau, which unfolds like a dream. Each turn of the journey resembles a living postcard, offering peace and serenity at every glance.
- Queen Mary’s Bridge (Marienbrucke) - Relish this fantastic viewpoint within walking distance of the castle. Always be mindful of the admission time to the castle (visit optional, schedule may change).
- Neuschwanstein Castle - Around 1:15 PM: Arrive at the Neuschwanstein Castle area. Begin exploring Ludwig II’s childhood home, Hohenschwangau Castle. Entrance tickets will be provided by the guide. Total stay in the area: approximately 3 – 3.5 hours.

During this time, enjoy free time for lunch, shopping, or photography. You can also take 35 minutes to reach Neuschwanstein Castle either on foot or by shuttle bus (note that the shuttle bus is not operational in snowy conditions). Be sure to visit Marienbrücke (Mary’s Bridge) for breathtaking views of the castle and the surrounding landscape.
