Valle De La Luna - We will start the tour leaving from the center of San Pedro de Atacama towards the Cordillera de la Sal in the Atacama Desert, the driest place on earth, with
direction to one of its most picturesque points: the Valley of the Moon. The names already give a clear clue to the landscape, where rock formations modeled by erosion, salt mantles, the Duna Mayor and views that will make you feel like on another planet reign.
We will cross the valley transversally, visiting its famous rock formations: the Tres Marías, the Canyon and the Amphitheater. To finish the tour, we will enjoy the sunset from the Lickanantay viewpoint, where you can see how the desert is changing color, with large volcanoes on the horizon, offering a spectacle that will leave you speechless.

What does this experience include?

Once at the place, you will be welcomed by our guides and we will immerse ourselves in a fascinating initial session of observing the sky with the naked eye, in the company of Rodrigo Zúñiga, renowned author of the book series “Under the Night of Atacama” and “Nueve notes to recover the sky.” During this first part, you will become familiar with the most prominent constellations and celestial elements of the season, establishing an intimate connection with the natural splendor that surrounds us.
Later, we will expand your experience through the use of electronic telescopes, which will allow us to contemplate planets, star clusters, nebulae and other cosmic wonders, depending on the time of year.

Rainbow Valley Tour, Cejar Lagoon, Ojos del Salar and Tebenquinche Lagoon, Atacama Salt Flat

Valle Arcoiris - We start very early where we head 90 km from San Pedro towards the Rio Grande basin where we arrive at the Rainbow Valley. Its name is given due to the variety of colors that can be seen in the valley’s hills; earth colors, red, beige, green, white and yellow. All combined with traces of white salt and a blue sky. The colors of this sector show the ecological richness of the clay, minerals and salts, we will visit this place on a walk of 1 hour there and 1 hour back, then

We will move to the Salado river sector, where a small valley is formed in which we can take a walk to appreciate the landscape. After this, we will return to San Pedro de Atacama where the activity ends

Laguna Cejar - We will start the tour visiting Laguna Cejar which has a high concentration of salt so you can float as if you were in the Dead Sea, it is surrounded by salts of various shapes, where we will walk along beautiful trails observing the biodiversity of the environment, highlighting the importance of the conservation of fauna, which is home to foxes, flamingos and microorganisms that live in extreme situations where there are only 3 places in the world, Chile being one of them. Ending our tour with the most beautiful sunset in the desert.

Piedras Rojas and Altiplanic Lagoons

Lagunas Altiplanicas - The trip begins towards the Piedras Rojas and Altiplanic Lagoons viewpoint, we will pick you up at the hotel and we will go through important tourist places within the Atacama desert such as the picturesque towns of Toconao and Socaire, the guide will explain in detail the formation of the loose and fauna of the place in addition to its history. We will pass through the Tropic of Capricorn and make a stop at the Altiplanic Lagoon to enjoy a rich buffet breakfast, then we will continue our journey until we reach 4,200 meters high at the Piedras Rojas Viewpoint where you can observe the impressive color of the stones and the amazing formation of the place. We will have an incredible lunch, we will visit the altiplano, one of the most beautiful salt flats in the world, the Salar de Talar called a sea of colors.

Tatio Geyser

Geyser del Tatio - At dawn we go to one of the entrances of the Andean plateau, where we will go directly to one of the most important geothermal fields in the world, the “Geyser del Tatio” with 80 Geysers with their smoking fumaroles, a unique spectacle in the world, where we will remain around approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, then we will enjoy a rich breakfast buffet to continue our journey back where we enter the hills and mountains of the Andes Mountains we will contemplate important high altitude ecosystems of rich biodiversity such as the wetlands of Machuca and Vados by Putana
