Great - Speed boat is great, it is only an hour from phi phi island to Phuket. Just don’t bring too much luggage as the space is quite small. Drop off service is on time too.

Ferry better - Sabai Marine speedboat was very very uncomfortable as over crowded. Didn’t get a proper seat and very uncomfortable to sit on a bench that was too deep to lean back and touch the floor with my feet. I’m 61 years old and fit and know that they cram them in, but at least expected to get a proper sized seat. My view is take the ferry which takes longer but you get a view. You can’t see anything crammed into the speedboat.

Criminally dangerous speedboat operator - Criminally dangerous speed boat operator. Took speedboat from Phi Phi Don to Krabi. One of three engines failed before we left so the dangerously overloaded boat wallowed in a huge waves because not enough power to ride over waves. only six lifejackets for forty people. Was so bad even the driver started filming the waves and the passengers, all getting soaked by waves crashing over the boat and all terrified. Second engine failed three quarters way over. All about raking in money - absolutely no regard for anyone’s safety. Should be shut down

AVOID ! ! - I booked a speedboat from Phi Phi to Phuket. The mess at the pier in Phi Phi is unbelievable. There are two check in tents, and I was being sent from one tent to another 3 times. No one seemed to care, just to get rid of me. No interest in customer, no updates on delays. My speedboat was delayed by 1 hour 15 minutes, when the journey should take 1 hour. Then I had a problem with minibus. I went to the one going to Patong, the driver told me that I have to pay additional 150 baht for some reason (pick up and drop off was included in the ticket price). Not even an apology received from the company. Disgraceful.
