Uxmal and the chocolate museum - Our trip was fantastic. Freddie, our guide was very knowledgeable and patient with our group. As was Carlos, our driver. It was a very relaxed vibe tour of Uxmal. Freddie pointed out many interesting facts and made the information easy to understand for our senior group. We also thoroughly enjoyed Choco- story the cacao museum next to Uxmal. The rain ceremony was lovely. The spider monkeys were so fun to watch as the performed their acrobatics. I felt sorry for the jaguars though. They need much more space. They seemed stressed, pacing around their enclosure.all in all a great time.

Perfect half-day tour to Uxmal - This tour is perfect if you just want to see Uxmal and have most of your afternoon free. The guide picked us up at 7am and we returned around 12:30pm. He gave us a nice guided tour of Uxmal, helped us take pictures, and gave us more than enough free time to explore the site on our own.

Great experience - A great experience! We ended up being to only two scheduled, so basically was a private tour. Rosendo, our guide was knowledgeable and very likable. He answered all the questions we asked. The time in Uxmal was overwhelming with the history and beauty. Rosendo was incredibly knowledgeable about it and the surrounding area. Planning on using them next t]visit to check out another site.

Fascinating morning at Uxmal with Rosendo - We did the early tour of Uxmal with Rosendo. We met Rosendo at 7am, picked up 2 more people and arrived at Uxmal around 8:30am, just after opening. This is the absolute best time to go to Uxmal! There is hardly anyone else there and the weather is not too hot. Rosendo spent an hour with us explaining Mayan language, heritage and culture along with identifying important aspects of the Uxmal site and relating some of the ancient stories - it's a lot to take in and Rosendo did a great job. We then spent an hour meandering through the site at our leisure. By the time we met Rosendo around 11:15, the place was full of large tourist groups and it was very hot. So do yourself a favour, set the alarm and go to Uxmal at 7am with Rosendo! You will be amazed. Thanks Rosendo for a fascinating morning at Uxmal.

Ushumal is better than Chichen Itzúa - It was my first trip to Mexico, my first trip to the Yucatán Peninsula. I didn't know anything, and the day before, I went to Chichen Itzúa and it was crowded with tourists. Today we went to the Ushmar ruins and it was quiet and very nice. The guide explained it in detail and I understood it very well.

Well worth it - A easy and great way to visit Uxmal and Kabah from Mérida. It’s a 1/2 day excursion so you’ll be able to get back in time for other activities and out of the hot afternoon sun. Our guide, Julian, was very knowledgeable, helpful and was eager to answer any question. It made for a very interesting day.

Just as advertised - Professional and timely driver Jorge and very informative guide Freddie led our small group through Uxmal. Firstclass and clean vehicle enhanced the 90 minute drive through interesting scenery. Freddie was friendly and knowlegable about the lore of the region. Trip was in the early part of the day and returned to Merida about 130 p.m. local time. Uxmal was uncrowded and impressive to see.

I recommend - The excursion was really nice, our Rosario guide was really complete in his explanations we were a small group of five people. First we went to Uxmal, before returning to the archaeological site we were able to have something to eat and a quick coffee then our guide showed us around the place and its history for 2 hours. Then we had about 1h/1h30 of free time to visit the place by ourselves. After that we went home. The excursion is rather short but it is enough if you do not necessarily want the package with visit of cenotes and lunch.
