Amazing! - What a lovely experience! The organisers were so helpful and the restaurant staff were lovely. The transport worked so well with no issues, this is a must do if you’re in Malta! I took my 12 year old son and he really enjoyed it so it’s suitable for the family too. A lovely story about the background and family ties to the restaurant and the traditional dancers were fantastic.
As we were only two people, we were placed on a larger table with others. I didn’t realise that but it was no problem at all.

Very good evening, to do - Beautiful evening, Belinda welcomed us with great attention, very dynamic person who sets the mood.
We love to dance so it was ideal on 80s hits.
Good vision also of traditional dances without forgetting the very hearty and typical meal.
A word of advice: take a Bolt taxi instead of the transfer because it took a very long time to get to all the hotels.

Definitely worth it! - It’s crowded and hard to get a good seat, but an excellent show and meal. Chicken, squid and horse meat.

A great Maltese evening - A fantastic evening with a wide range of great quality Maltese food. The staff were very attentive, especially the manager who also compered the folk dancing. The stage lifted up so everyone could see the dancers. There was live music for the first 2 hours. We booked for an earlier meal but we were happy to wait until 9.30 when the dancing started.

Highly recommended - We recently went in 3 (me, my wife and my 19 year old daughter). Being us in Gezira, about 40/50 minutes (and more for traffic), we took the solution with the transfer included and I think we did very well. A Bolt would have been expensive especially for the return where you pass through a Rimini-style country where there is incredible traffic. The restaurant is in the Maltese hinterland, far from the chaos and you can breathe a different air than the seaside villages. Meeting point under the hotel at 6.30 pm and return departure at 10.30 pm from the restaurant. Perhaps we should postpone the return at least an hour, because the evening is enlivened a lot and sorry to leave. A boy and girl next to us, they chose not to return and then organize their return independently.
The restaurant is really typical and above all it is special. I would say it should be called " HAPPINESS ", because really there you spend a happy and unique evening and those around you, from the owner to the waiters, all have a smile on their lips. For those who had booked like us with Tripadvisor it worked like this: the appetizer is one and is fixed for everyone (an arancino stuffed with meat and mushrooms with mushroom sauce and a kind of flavored fat to spread on bread). Then you can choose a first among two on the list (I had fish soup, while my daughter and my wife had ravioli). Then choose a second from 4 on the list. I took the squid with the side dish, while my daughter and wife roasted the rabbit with the side dish. The side dish was a little on the plate and then in the bowls, apart, with baked potatoes inside.
Finally they bring you a big glass of stuffed panna cotta. The courses were cooked to perfection and were plentiful (especially the main courses) and I who am one who eats a lot, I got up full. I'll post a picture of the dumplings, there are only three, but believe me that was enough. I've never eaten a squid so tender and tasty. If I had to rate eating, from 1 to 10, I'd give it 9, just because there's always room for improvement in everything. The panna cotta, for me it was space. I've never had panna cotta like that. A delicacy.
Congratulations to those who made it and to me who ate it:-))).
I also wanted to finish those left over from my wife and daughter, but I held back because I was afraid of being sick when I returned by bus:-))).
The place is gorgeous. The owner, who also presents the folklore show, is a myth. During dinner, there was soft music with two gentlemen guitarists singing, as well as international songs, also some Italian, both in our language and in English. Amazing and especially suitable while you were eating. During dinner a very nice blonde amberjack lady was around the room, who asked to pass her the phone to take pictures at the table and above all she is wild to dance. In fact, at a certain time a portion of the floor rises and hosts the folk dance. A strange dance similar to those you do in a group in Sardinia. The girls were amazing. Finished eating begins the dance music of the 80s/90s and the place becomes, only in the stage area, a half dance hall. I only write in the area, as, although my daughter and I could not resist not dancing, those who did not want to dance could sit quietly at his table just watching who danced. So very nice and engaging even for those who do not like dancing or particularly hate confusion. Here too the blonde waitress did an amazing show. A crazy drag. My daughter is quite a shy girl and honestly I was surprised that she was on the track with me. I swear I was really sorry to leave at 10.30. I would have stayed there at least another hour. The only advice I can give to the owner is just that, if he can do it, to arrange the return transfer, at least at 11.30.
What else can I say? Great food, great atmosphere, great local and unforgettable evening even and only if you go with your family. Money really well spent.
Thanks to the restaurateur who made us spend an evening in simplicity, genuine as if we were family.
PS
my wife told me that in a week in Malta, it was the only restaurant, in which although we ate a lot, it digested very well :-))).

Good but not great - The show and the food were good and well presented, but not great. We were not told to expect a large tour bus - we looked for someone or some form of transport with a sign - nothing. We saw a tour bus and asked the driver who after some difficulty confirmed that this was what we needed.

Disappointed - I was so looking forward to this, but was left soooo disappointed. We paid £121 for two of us via getyourguide which I thought was reasonable considering it was supposed to be a four course tasting meal with traditional folklore dancers. The pick up from the hotel was fine. When we got to the restaurant we were seated with two other couples that were French that didn't speak English so it was very awkward. The lady waitress Bella was lovely she explained the menu to all of us speaking French to the two couples and English to us. We were offered a drink in a slim glass(think it's was a local drink) which if you accepted it you had to pay 6euro for after the meal.
The 1st course of the arracini ball was OK, tasted not to bad and all the table seemed to enjoy it.
2nd course was starter and the choice was fish soup or ravioli, the whole table opted for ravioli, again this was OK and tasted nice. The 3rd course was main which was a choice of chicken, rabbit, and a few others. On our table 2 choose chicken, the rest rabbit...... Then we waited, and waited, and waited for the main to come out at least 40mins might of been a hr waiting. When it arrived the chicken looked unappertising, was cold, and was just plain weird. I had two mouthfuls but didn't eat the rest due to being cold and not liking the taste. The rabbit that came out was tough to cut and was also cold. The majority of people who had paid for the meal experience had received cold main meals. It seemed to be if you ordered off the menu but not the set menu then you got hot food.
4th course was dessert which was basically a trifle in a glass which again I wasn't impressed with.Wine, coffee and water was free and you could have as much of that as you liked.
Now onto the dancing...... I was expecting this exceptional amazing dance performance when in reality it was half hearted by the dancers, they didn't look like they wanted to dance you could see the fake smiles on their faces. The dancing I felt was rushed. Best bit of the night after the dancers had finished was the dancing by Bella the waitress, she was fun, energetic, brought the restaurant alive with her dancing and she got the men up dancing with her. Well done Bella!!! What shame about the rest of the evening. We arrived at 7pm left at 10.30pm

Traditional dancing topped the evening - It is what it says. Traditional dancing was nice to watch. Food choices were limited and the food just okay, but as a Maltese food experience it met the brief. Staff were friendly.
