Welcome to our shop which is located opposite the coffee union. You will see our sign with a logo of a Woman holding Africa. From the sign its 8m until our shop. If you having any problem locating it please ask the staff by the coffee union and they will show you.

A good store with a wide selection - Here you can find many souvenirs, including useful items. There are two stores: one in Uhuru Park and another in the city center near the main roundabout.
The owner, Pete, is a great guy. If you are interested in city tours or major natural attractions, he can organize everything for you, including full safaris in national parks.

Cute shop with quality local items - They Have such great art of original local artists. Peter the owner is friendly and inviting. And they will definitely take care of you. Especially if you buy in bulk lol. And if you're lucky you might get to meet Mama Africa.

The best gift shop in Tanzania, with the best staff! - We found everything we needed at the Mama Africa gift shop! Absolutely worth a stop in Moshi. Peter is incredibly helpful and patient, and has a large variety of wonderful souvenirs, pieces of art, gifts, and more. Unique items that we didn't see anywhere else. Thanks Peter for making it so easy to buy gifts for family and friends (and some beautiful items for our home), we hope to be back!

Much more than a gift shop - Mama Africa has been much more than just a shop to us, even though it surely is a shop where you can find everything you need. The staff has gone above and beyond to help us get the trip of our lives. If you visit town, visiting Mama Africa is a must and we couldn’t be more grateful for all the memories created there!

Have a wide range of souvenirs - A lovely shop full of beautiful artwork and souvenirs to take take home with helpful people. They have a wide range of stuff from jewellery to paintings that are good quality and nice to have to remember your time in Tanzania :)

One of the best giftshops around Moshi - This shop is amazing, everyone is so lovely. Peter became a good friend, very helpful and nice guy. Can’t wait to go back to Mama Africa shop.

Best place for tours in and around Moshi and to get beautiful souvenirs - Amazing gift shop and tour guide in the center of Moshi. Peter is an amazing guy and will show you everything there is to see and will help you with anything you need. Big recommendation!
