Visitors will be transported to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its exceptional biomass density of large mammals. This park is celebrated for its tree-climbing lions, the soda ash lake, and its vibrant flamingos, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Rift Valley. It is a haven for bird enthusiasts, hosting a multitude of bird species including flamingos, pelicans, cormorants, and hundreds of others. In addition to the diverse birdlife, visitors can also encounter the “Big Game.” With some luck, elephants may be spotted in the wooded areas, and with even more fortune, the elusive tree-climbing lions. For a long time, Lake Manyara National Park was believed to be the sole location where lions exhibited this unique tree-climbing behavior. Baboons and vervet monkeys inhabit the forested regions, while in the open areas, giraffes graze on fresh leaves and various antelope species browse for tender shoots.
