Kilimanjaro 2025 - Our group recently completed the Mount Kilimanjaro trek and the experience was seamless from start to finish. Logistics, permits, and transfers were well handled, and the guides showed great care in monitoring pace and altitude, while the porters worked tirelessly to keep camp comfortable. Meals were wholesome and nourishing — a welcome boost after long trekking days. While facilities on the mountain are naturally basic, the team ensured safety, acclimatization, and encouragement throughout. Their professionalism made the summit push both manageable and memorable.

Great Experience - We were a group of four women who summited Mt. Kilimanjaro with ZAFS Tours in August 2025 and truly had an amazing time. The ZAFS team - eighteen strong - with Alex and Penina as our guides, took great care of us every step of the way. Climbing Kili - Climbing Kili with ZAFS Tours was 1 of the best experiences. Tour guides Alex & Penny & the team of Kili fighters took exceptional care of us - a group of 4 women. From guiding us on the trek to serving us in the tents, feeding us 3 course freshly prepared meals, pitching our tents / private toilet at every camp, everything was taken care of meticulously and done with a warm smile. When the going got really tough on the summit day, our bag packs were carried by Alex , Penny, Ali , Eric and Freddy and we were supported in the steep descent by them . These guys were truly our rocks every step of the way. Kudos to ZAFS Tours for putting together an exceptional team and running this operation.

Amazing experience with ZAFS! - I climbed Kilimanjaro with ZAFS in early Aug 2025 via the Lemosho route along with family and some friends. It was an incredible experience overall- ZAFS had excellent guides (Musa, Farruque and Erike) to help us through each step of the way.. wonderful, delicious and healthy food cooked by the amazing Abu, an awesome team of porters to make this challenge easier for us. This was my first ever big trek but going with ZAFS made the whole process easier. The accommodation was comfortable, every detail throughout was well planned and made this experience really enjoyable. But it wasn't just the guides... the support staff, porters, and cook team were phenomenal. Each trekker had more than 2 porters assigned, always walking by our side. Their unwavering support kept us going, even on days when we doubted ourselves. And the Food!! Chef Abu deserves his own Michelin star! Four wholesome, nourishing meals a day, from steaming soups to fresh fruits and even surprise Indian dishes. Honestly, the best meals we've had on any trek (and we’ve done quite a few before this one!). ZAFS also goes the extra mile on comfort. Our WALK-IN TENTS WITH COTS were game changers, no sore backs, no sleepless nights. And yes, PORTABLE FLUSH TOILETS , something that feels like luxury on a high-altitude trek, keeping everything hygienic and fresh every single day. I noticed not many tour operators were offering such facilities. ZAFS Tours delivered a five-star experience on Africa’s highest peak. 8 day Lemosho route - highly recommend! - What a beautiful experience with an exceptionally talented and empathetic team of people at Zafs. The entire support staff & the guides made this experience so enjoyable! I did my tour with lead guide Alex, and his team of 30! Every person on the team worked hard to ensure we had a great time, whether it was setting up our tents for us, upkeep of the toilet, or cooking delicious food for us. I felt I was at home and am already missing the mountain! Zafs also had great hospitality and arranged everything from airport drops to hotel bookings for me. Their team is responsive and pleasant to speak with. Don't think twice- just book!

From initial discussion through the entire trek was well planned and managed. Our trek leader Alex kept updating all important details planned for day and how to prepare for the day.
