Arrival in Moshi – Pre-Trek Briefing & Preparation

Moshi - Visitors will arrive in Moshi, the gateway to Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, the team will greet them at their hotel for a comprehensive pre-trek briefing and equipment check. They will meet their mountain guides, review the route, and prepare for the upcoming adventure. The remainder of the day is free to relax, explore the town, or enjoy views of Kilimanjaro before the climb begins.

Lemosho Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp – Trek through Kilimanjaro Rainforest

Kilimanjaro National Park - Visitors will commence their Kilimanjaro journey at Lemosho Gate, situated on the mountain’s western side. After registration, the trek begins through a stunning rainforest zone filled with towering trees, exotic birds, and occasional monkey sightings. Accompanied by experienced guides, they will enjoy a gentle uphill hike toward Mti Mkubwa Camp (Big Tree Camp), where they will spend the first night on the mountain surrounded by lush nature.

Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp – Trek into the Moorland Zone

Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp – Trek over Lava Tower

Kilimanjaro National Park - Visitors will hike from Shira 2 Camp toward the dramatic Lava Tower (4,630m), passing through stunning high-altitude desert landscapes.
