Mount Kilimanjaro Day hike and Local Barista experience in the Chagga village - From the being a local barista in the Chagga village to the hike at the base of Kilimanjaro, the overall experience with operation Kilimanjaro was wholesome experience. The people were very kind and made a delicious meal. The hike had some beautiful sceneries and the waterfall was gorgeous. The overall hike was fantastic and would highly recommend their services.

A divine memorable experience - Greatest experience of my life — I would definitely do it again. I went with my family, and my two teenage daughters (19 and 14) both really enjoyed the hike and the coffee-making experience. The guides spoke good English, which made everything easy to understand and enjoyable. I recommend wearing shoes suitable for a 3–4 km hike, as the walk does require a reasonable level of fitness. For this reason, I wouldn’t suggest going with very young children. The coffee boys were fantastic and very happy to take photos for us. The food they served was delicious, and I would recommend bringing around 15,000 Tanzanian shillings to buy extra coffee and some wonderful souvenirs. It’s a great activity for families, and it’s also suitable for solo travellers as long as you speak good English and are open to learning. We visited for the day and completed the day hike. When we reached the waterfall, there were quite a few people there, but it didn’t feel overcrowded. Along the walk, we passed other tourists and exchanged friendly greetings, which added to the lovely atmosphere. I would rate this experience 10/10 and highly recommend it as a truly memorable tour.

Amazing trip - One day trip to Kilimanjaro - I had an incredible one-day trip to Kilimanjaro! From the moment we were picked up, everything ran flawlessly—the service from pickup to drop-off was truly excellent, making the entire day feel smooth and worry-free. Our guide was amazing: warm, welcoming, and impressively knowledgeable about the mountain’s history, culture, and wildlife. They had all the entry paperwork prepared in advance, which made starting the hike quick and effortless. They also brought plenty of water for all climbers, a thoughtful touch that kept everyone comfortable throughout the day. Every step of the journey came alive through their stories, insights, and deep understanding of the mountain’s history, culture, and wildlife. It felt like traveling with someone who truly loves what they do. Lunch was decent and provided just the right boost to keep us energized for the journey. Overall, the trip was beautifully organized, comfortable, and unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the magic of Kilimanjaro in a single day!

Incredible one day Mt. Kilimanjaro hike - Highly recommended - I had arranged a day hike up Mt. Kilimanjaro with Operation Kilimanjaro, and the experience exceeded all expectations. Not only did I get to attempt this rewarding hike, but I had the incredible opportunity to do it alongside Johnson, the founder of the company, someone who has summited Mt. Kilimanjaro over 90 times. The hike was exceptionally well-organized, from the punctual pick-up to the delicious lunch and the enriching cultural immersion into Tanzanian traditions, all brought to life through Johnson himself. His deep knowledge of the mountain, local vegetation and wildlife added so much depth to the experience. It was a truly unforgettable journey.

- Had a great hike with Operation Kilimanjaro! The weather was not entirely cooperative that particular day, but we still did the climb getting a bit wet and muddy along the way. Johnson was a great guide! A fun person to hang out with for the day, as well as knowledgeable about the area. He grew up near the park and has a wonderful passion for sharing his country and mountain! The hike itself would certainly be easier when dry. Our pace was a bit slower and we still had plenty of time. Johnson was prompt in the morning and we were pretty close to the first folks on the trail - certainly first parked in the lot. A good lunch was provided and fortunately a dry place to eat at the top. Didn't come across too many animals, they weren't fond of the weather either.
