The Ascent Begins: A Journey Through the Lemosho Route

As a wildlife photographer with a deep love for Africa, the idea of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro had always been a dream. The Lemosho Route, known for its stunning landscapes and less crowded paths, seemed like the perfect choice. Arriving in Moshi, I was filled with anticipation and excitement, ready to embark on this 8-day adventure with Jairos Adventure.

The journey began with a drive from Moshi to the Londorossi Gate, where the real adventure started. The initial trek through the lush rainforest was a feast for the senses. The almond-brown trees, the exotic blue monkeys, and the gentle rustling of leaves created a serene atmosphere.
