What to do on a short trip around Moshi, Tanzania 🇹🇿? - Kikuleta HotSprings also known as Chemka HotSprings, is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. The water forms a crystal-clear oasis which is ideal for swimming and relaxing while small fish nibble gently at your feet 🤭. The water is not exceptionally warm but refreshing and it is as deep as 7-10meters. Floaters are available on rental at TZS 5,000 ($2 / €2). Located closer to Moshi than Arusha (1.5hour drive from Moshi to Arusha and a 2hour drive from Arusha), Kikuleta HotSprings is awaiting for you to come and enjoy the ‘jungle’ experience and serenity of the location. The highlight of this experience is the rope tree swing which adds a playful twist to the adventure. The rope is secured to a sturdy tree branch. Entrance Fee: ▪️EA Citizens & Residents: TZS 7,000 ( $3 / €2 ) ▪️Non-Residents / Foreigners: $5 for ALT and $2 for CHD. I had an amazing visit to Chemka HotSprings last weekend. Great swimming place Chemka Hot-spring - The place is a very lovely place for chill out and relaxing body it has nice and quiet environment a nice place for a swim if you visit moshi this is a must go place for people who love to swim

Take mask and fins - Amazing place! Cristal clear and warm water! If you like snorkelling or freediving, strongly recommend you to take all your equipment with you. Here you can find two deep caves with strong flows coming from them. Toilet and changing rooms are there.

GOOD PLACE - This place is good may go and visit with your family and friends you will enjoy a lot 😁🎉🫶 Then so funny water will good place down viewing water with small fish with suction there😄 it’s good place to be chemka hot springs

Must-visit when in the Moshi area. - The Hot Springs are a true gem, the water was super clean/clear and had a pleasant temperature. The amount of tourists there was ok, not too crowded. There are small fish in the water that sometimes go to your feet and nibble in them, but otherwise they pose no danger.

Nice experience after Kili - Nice experience. Good food, the springs are worthy to visit. Peter organized the trip even i asked last minute. The guide picked me up from my hotel and dropped back

Underwhelmed - The word “hot” does not describe the springs. Part was lukewarm and part was cold. I would skip this. Tubes cost $4 which you’ll use at most 45 minutes since your tour group is on a schedule. And it is a bumpy 20 kilometer ride which made the safari roads look much better.

Scam - It's a scam. A water hole and no more. The people who manage just think about making you pay clubs and buoys. Nothing to see! Pass your way
