Journey from Moshi to Mti Mkubwa
Mti Mkubwa Camp - After breakfast, you will be transferred from your hotel to the edge of the National Park forest. From there, enjoy a walk through the pristine forest to the Mti Mkubwa campsite for dinner and an overnight stay. With some luck, you might spot colobus monkeys and signs of elephants.
Trek from Mti Mkubwa to Shira Camp
Shira Camp Two - Enjoy a leisurely walk through the forest, observing the abundant wildlife and bird species. You will traverse the montane forest and hagenia zone. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Shira Camp.
From Shira Camp to Fisher Campsite
Shira Camp Two - Today’s hike takes you across the Shira plateau, ascending the western slope of the Kibo massif. Overnight stay at Fisher Campsite.
Fisher Camp to Lava Tower
Mount Kilimanjaro National Park - After breakfast, hike up to Lava Tower, your first encounter with the alpine zone. The only vegetation here consists of hardy grasses and lichen. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the final ascent route up the Western Breach.

Uhuru Peak - Summit day. Begin your ascent to the summit early in the morning to reach the peak by 10 am. After reaching Uhuru Peak, descend via Barafu Hut and continue down to Mweka Hut Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Mweka Hut to Moshi
Moshi - The descent to the roadhead takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. After lunch, bid farewell to your porters and transfer to Moshi for accommodation with Bed and Breakfast.
