Great Experience on this Well-Planned Tour! - We had a great time! Tsingy Tours was extremely responsive and answered all of our pre-trip questions timely - despite the time change to the US. They also did a great job selecting out guide, who was friendly, listened to our priorities, and spoke English well (Ferdinand 261 343 82 0913 if you have questions). Our driver was also amazing - the roads are terrible and he handled them with ease. The tour is well thought out incorporating lots of activities. Everything was as described and the accommodations were the best available in the area. Tsingy Tours was also helpful when our hotel tried to overcharge us for an airport transfer. Overall recommended if you want to truly experience Madagascar!

Very special experience in a beautiful setting - We had a very good tour. The car ride was long, our driver Thierry very good at avoiding those big holes in the road and placing it right on the ferry. That was an adventure in itself. With that big and little Tsingy we also had a very good guide- Edila. She knew a lot about the Tsingy and was also very helpful. Also the guide in the Kirindy forest knew a lot about those different lemurs and spotted them... we saw a lot of lemurs. Those chosen hotels were also fine - we even had a pool in each hotel! Thanks for these 4 beautiful days... who knows, we might come back someday.

The best 4 days!! - I did the 4 day Tsingy Tour of Avenue of Boababs, Kirindi Forest & the big Tsingy Tsingy. Driver being Mec and guide Theo. Mec was very attentive to the road and conditions which made me feel safe in his hands. Theo is very knowledgeable and kept me engaged with information on the areas we were exploring. He has such a sharp eye when it comes to the wildlife and always wanting the best experience for the client. He knew I had an interest in flora so would point out flowers etc which may catch my interest. Theo is not only knowledgeable with his job as a guide, but a perfect gentleman and ever so funny. There was lots of conversations and laughs throughout the 4 days and engaging with other travellers along the way. I highly recommend Tsingy Tours for a very fun & educational experience. Thank you so much!!

Well organised tour suitable for the physically able - We took this 3.5 day tour from Morondava to Tsingy De Bemaraha National Park via the Avenue of Baobabs and Kirindy (night and morning lemur walks). The Tsingy was stunning but it's suitable for physically agile and active people since there are step-aided climbs and a narrow cave to pass through. They provide a harness for added safety which is more of a precaution. We saw seven different types of lemurs, some very close up, and they were adorable! As expected the roads were not very good north of Kirindy and there were a couple of river crossings. The 4x4 vehicle was typical and just about survived the journey, which is part of the experience. Our driver Lolo handled the challenging roads very well, and our English speaking guide Gera was relaxed and passionate about nature. Hotels were decent considering the ruralness, but bring plenty of local cash as meals are not included (a main course is up to 50k Ar each), cards are not accepted and Euros can be used but at a poor rate. Overall this was a great trip, but I'd recommend you read up about the tour on the agent's official website and blogs for more details about the trip and physical demands.

Highly recommended! - The guide Thea is helpful, fun, organized, and passionate. The driver makes us feel safe on those bumpy roads. Sub tour guides are good with solid knowledge and know where to take us. The trip is life lifetime experience.

100% do this - This is a full on experience in Madagascar. 100% do this but be aware. Lots of time in the car, which was fine for us as we had a great guide in Gera and the number 1 driver in morondava Lolo. This man was magic and Gera was truly knowledgable about Morondava and helped guide and tell us about the locations we stopped. The hike at Tsingy is tough but worth it. I am a fairly large person and completed but you need to be agile and willing as it is rock climbing. The Baobabs and Lemur walks were magical and to do this in the wild is a dream come true. Most places have WiFi but don’t depend on it. Cut off from the world is the best way to do this. Ensure you have cash for food and tips. Ideally per person 600-800,000 for 4 days would suffice for tips and food plus water

Really great adventure to the Tsingy and back - I wanted to visit the Tsingy, but found it very difficult to find tours on the internet to take me there. When I found one they were usually about at a rate of 1k+ euros on the basis of a private tour, as I was a solo traveller. Which perhaps was fair, but for me was way too much money. But the problem with Tsingy is that its such a remote location that you cannot easily get there any other way than a tour. Thankfully through the tripadvisor forums I saw a recommendation for Naina and saw he had group tour option, which nearly halved the price, even with the addition of a private room. When the time was there to take the tour, I think they had no other tourist for my dates, so I wound up going by myself and still for the quoted price, which was really nice and I felt very grateful for this. The only negative side effect perhaps was that I just got a driver and no guide, though for me it wasnt a big deal personally. I spend four days going to Kirindy (cool night tour and next day a great day tour, saw many brown lemurs up real close) then on to Tsingy and back. The road is not for the fainth of heart, a non stop dirt road with bumping for hours on end. It has two river crossings with a car ferry, which are great fun and a marvellous experience. Tsingy itself is incredible and I had a local guide with a lot of knowledge, which was great. If you have vertigo like me, the Tsingy is a bit scary, but it was not as bad as I had feared and the safety harness helped easy my mind. The accommodations where pretty good, especially considering they were sort of in the middle of nowhere. The food ranged from great (Kirindy location, Belo location) to okayish (Bekopaka location). I had a great driver that brought me everywhere safe and sound, sometimes getting us out of really difficult spots. Despite that he could not really speak English very well, we made it work. The ride itself though long and challenging is also fun as there is lots to see and experience. All in all, the adventure of a lifetime and highly recommended!

Great experience - Great adventure with an experienced guide and driver. Amazing views and hike in Madagascar. The accommodations booked during the trip are ok but there is not much other choice in the parks. One of the accommodations was changed last minute due to external reasons. The accommodation in Morondava was nice. We felt safe with the guide and driver. Get ready for bumpy and dusty roads!

An unprofessional adventure - It was an adventure that did not exceed my expectations. Theo was my guide and I found him to be enthusiastic and a bit unprofessional. I an a solo female traveler and got to see what I wanted to see and crossed the Tsingy bridge. (There is a short cut that wasn’t mentioned at the beginning.) I ended up paying more for things I thought were included such as breakfast one day and the night chameleons. The itinerary changed from the first day. (It was an adventure!) Theo often asked for more. Maybe it was because I was a solo traveler. The driver, Arson, was attentive and nice even though the car was a bit “rustic.” He asked people twice for a push to jump start the car. Again, it was an adventure. They will get you there and back. PS You need lots of cash for the ; days. Naina estimated an additional 40 Euros (yes! Euros) per day for food (and tips?). It was an adventure.
