Day 1: Zanzibar Sea Port to Dar es Salaam Sea Port

You will be picked up by our driver from your hotel or residence at 6:00 am to catch the first ferry departing at 7:00 am. You will arrive at Dar es Salaam Sea Port around 9:30 am, where you will meet your driver/guide holding a sign with your name.

After gathering your belongings, you will embark on a 7-hour drive to Mikumi National Park, with a lunch stop at Msolwa. Upon arriving in the late afternoon, enjoy an evening game drive in Mikumi National Park, where you can witness incredible wildlife sightings in areas such as the Mkata Plain, Kisungura area, and Hippo dams. Overnight accommodation will be at the campsite, where dinner will be served.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive

After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. Commonly seen animals include lions, elands, hartebeests, buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, and elephants. Packs of wild dogs can also be spotted here. The open horizons and abundant wildlife of the Mkata Floodplain, the popular centerpiece of Mikumi, are often compared to the renowned Serengeti Plains. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the campsite.

Day 3: Drive to Dar es Salaam and Take the Last Ferry to Zanzibar

After breakfast, you will drive back to Dar es Salaam to catch the last ferry departing at 3:30 pm. The drive to the park takes about 5 hours, with a game drive en route, allowing time for photos. You will then proceed to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the late evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel. There will be a lunch stop in Morogoro town.
