Agdz - Almost halfway, pass through the world heritage site of the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village from the 11th century. About 35 km from the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, visit the “Hollywood of Africa,” Ouarzazate, home to the largest film studios. The journey continues along the longest valley in the Kingdom, 1052 km, and the largest palm oases. Arrive in Agdez for an overnight stay.
Agdez → Draa Valley → Tamgrout → Mhamid → Erg Chegaga
Draa Valley - After breakfast, continue your adventure through the Draa Valley, renowned for its lush palm groves and picturesque kasbahs. Enjoy the scenic landscapes and photo opportunities on your way to Mhamid El Ghizlane, the gateway to the Sahara.
Tamgrout - Visit one of Morocco’s oldest Quranic libraries in the nearby kasbah, famous for its pottery workshops.
M’Hamid - After visiting Tamgrout, continue the journey to M’hamid, where lunch will be served.
Erg Chigaga - After lunch, depart and, unlike the previous village, be amazed by the vast Chigaga sand dune from a wide plateau. Enjoy a camel ride to one of the most fascinating sand dune sites, witnessing a stunning sunset atop the high sand dune. Tonight, stay at a Berber camp and enjoy a magnificent view of the stars.
Erg Chegaga → Taznakht → Marrakech
Erg Chigaga Dune - Wake up to a sunrise over the dunes, enjoy breakfast at the camp, and then start the return journey to Marrakech by 4×4. Travel through desert tracks, Berber villages, and the Atlas Mountains, arriving in the late afternoon.
Shop Espace Taznakht - After breakfast, travel via Foum-Zguid along the old Paris – Dakar track and the dried Iriqui lake. Continue to Taznakht, famous for Berber carpets, and have lunch there.
