High Atlas Mountains - Journey along Morocco’s highest road at 2260 meters through the High Atlas range, where Berber villages are perched on mountain ledges. Marvel at snow-capped peaks and lush valleys filled with fruit and nut trees. There will be numerous stops for photos, refreshments, and restroom breaks.

Ait Ben Haddou - Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou is a stunningly preserved fortress situated by the river on the ancient caravan route. Climb to the top for breathtaking views of the valley and a glimpse into the tribal life of the village’s long-standing residents.

Atlas Film Studio - Known as the “Hollywood” of Africa, this is the home of Atlas Film Studios. Iconic films such as Gladiator, Cleopatra, and Game of Thrones were filmed here.

Taourirt Kasbah - Visit the Taourirt Kasbah, constructed by the family that controlled access to the Atlas mountains in this area, and later utilized by the French Legion during the French occupation of Morocco from 1912-1956.

Vallee Des Roses - Travel through the picturesque valley of roses, where Damascus roses are grown and transformed into beauty products, a major Moroccan export. The harvest and the Festival of Roses in May make it an ideal time to visit. We’ll stop for coffee and visit the distillery.

Boumalne Dades - The breathtaking gorges carved into the mountains make this an excellent spot for outdoor activities like climbing, trekking, and camping. We’ll spend the night in a hotel before heading to the desert. Consider an evening walk through the gorge.

Sahara Desert Experience

Todgha Gorge - Discover one of Morocco’s most beautiful date palm oases in this valley, arriving at Todra Gorge for a pleasant walk along the river between towering rock walls. You might see climbers in action.

Fossiles d’Erfoud - On the way, explore ancient irrigation systems and water wells, and enjoy some tea before reaching Morocco’s fossil and date capital. Learn about the Sahara’s past as a sea and the fascinating fossils found here. Continue to a camel preserve where you can milk a camel, taste camel milk, and pet baby camels.

Merzouga Desert - The highlight of the desert adventure! Meet your camels and guide for a sunset trek into the dunes for an overnight “glamping” experience under the stars. Enjoy fantastic entertainment that enhances the magic.

Return to Marrakech

Marrakech - Rise at dawn to witness the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. Savor your breakfast and return by camel to meet your guide. Today involves a long drive back to Marrakech for an evening drop-off.
