Unforgettable Day Trip to Ouarzazate – Mouad is a Fantastic Guide! - We had an absolutely wonderful day trip from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, and a huge part of that was thanks to our driver and guide, Mouad. From the moment he picked us up, we felt completely at ease. The drive through the High Atlas Mountains can be winding, but Mouad was an incredibly safe and careful driver, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. He was very flexible and kind, stopping frequently to let us take photos of the breathtaking panoramic views. Mouad is extremely knowledgeable. He shared fascinating details about the Atlas Mountains and gave us an excellent explanation of the history of the Berber people, which added so much depth to the experience. What we appreciated most was his patience. We never felt rushed; he gave us plenty of time to explore each site at our own pace. He was also wonderful with our children, engaging with them and making the long drive fun for the whole family. If you are planning this trip, I highly recommend asking for Mouad. Thank you for a memorable day!

Tremendous day trip - It was an extremely nice day trip. The guide (Rashid) was super friendly and helpful. He spoke vastly interestingly and made jokes along the way, which broke the ice quite fast. The driver (Zakaria) also did his job perfectly, driving us through the mountains and getting us to each stop in one piece. The spots in the package all worked together perfectly, showing us different bits and pieces of nature, culture and history of Morocco.

Great fun with our tour guide on a day tour that offers a lot to see and experience. - The tour guide was very fun and accommodating. The tour itself offered a lot to see and experience within the depths of Morocco. Atlas Studios was definitely worth seeing as well and we would highly recommend it.

I enjoyed seeing some of the film sets of Morocco - Our tour guide, Sadok, was very friendly and helpful in accommodating us and informing us about the places we visited. Thank you to both driver and guide for looking after us so well in these icy and snowy conditions! First, we stopped at a cafe for breakfast, which was optional of course. It wasn't a very long stop though so I'd recommend simply enjoying the view or ordering something small as there wasn't enough time to eat a full breakfast. We then went to a mountain view point to take photos, which was beautiful, and then stopped briefly at a women's organ oil collective (not really necessary in my opinion but nice to stop and enjoy more stunning views). After that, our next stop was Ait Ben Houdou, a Berber village with ancient-looking houses and narrow streets and steps up to another great viewing point (no large castles though, which I had been hoping for). We were advised that we would be guided by a local tour guide and expected to pay 20 MAD each for his service, although it did turn out that the tour guide was optional and some asked to go on their own - perhaps worth doing that and going at your own pace, although you would then miss out on some information. Afterwards, we were driven to a restaurant near Ourzazate and had no choice but to eat lunch there, although it was a set menu with limited options and no drinks, costing a fixed price of 130 MAD for a starter, main and desert, the latter was shared between us. I would not recommend the food and would suggest bringing a packed lunch instead if possible. Next was the Atlas Studio, which was actually more interesting than I was expecting. We saw around 8 different film sets against a beautiful backdrops of snowy mountain ranges, and our tour guide was good at getting us all around the site in the time we had. Entrance for the Studio cost 80 MAD. It is very strongly encouraged by the tour guide that we write reviews at the end of our trip - I hope this is helpful for those thinking to book! Overall, I have really enjoyed my day out of Marrakech and the opportunity to see life in a town and a more modern city, although it did feel a bit rushed at times as there was a lot to fit in. It's been fun to see the film sets of Morocco.

Stunning landscape - It's a very long day with about seven hours in the mini bus. However the bus had WiFi and cool and hot air. The landscape was breathtaking at times, and we really enjoyed that part. The driver Bouja and our guide, Sadiq were very welcoming, friendly and informative. They looked after us well. We didn't think the lunch was great (and it was expensive) and it felt very orchestrated but there was nothing and no one stopping us from going to a different restaurant. Overall it was a long but enjoyable day with stunning views.
