• High Atlas Mountains - Embark on a remarkable journey through the most stunning valleys in the region, including Ourika Valley, Sidi Fares, and Asni Valley. Your guide will pick you up at 9am from your hotel or riad. Departing from Marrakech, you’ll head east towards the High Atlas, passing through several villages before driving along the Ourika Valley, which stretches about 30 miles across the foothills of the High Atlas.

This drive is one of the most scenic, with the road following the rushing Ourika River. Although the water levels vary, the river never runs dry and offers excellent whitewater rafting in the summer. We’ll pause for mint tea by a mountain stream somewhere in the valley before heading off-road into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. We’ll take this route at a leisurely pace, and if it’s a local Berber market day in one of the villages, we’ll stop in the morning to visit it. We’ll drive through villages and can stop whenever you want for photos or information. We also encourage our clients to bring unwanted spare clothes, shoes, or school supplies to distribute to Berber children along the way.

We’ll continue to climb until we leave the main road at an altitude of over 2000 meters. Then, we’ll follow an ancient, partly paved Berber track to reach the Sidi Fares valley, an authentic area known for its apple trees. Here, you’ll have lunch in a Berber house in a village overlooking the Atlas Mountains. The meal will be homemade and organic, featuring tomato salad, chicken tagine, couscous, and fruits. If you’re vegetarian, we can accommodate you with 24 hours’ notice.

After lunch, we’ll head to the greener Asni Valley, where orchards line the route. You’ll also have the chance to admire Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in Northern Africa, standing at 4167 meters and often snow-capped.

• Camel Ride Marrakech - Enjoy a camel ride lasting around 20 minutes if you wish. Please note that this is not included in the price and costs an additional 10.
• 7 Cascade D’ourika - Trek in the Atlas Mountains for as long or as short as you like, either in the Ourika Valley or another valley.
