The process for picking wasn't super clear....we roamed the orchard but were somewhat unsure where to pick and why peaches weren't included. However, the cherries are superlative. Amazing...No cherry pitters available for sale in the store was disappointing.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff; large variety of fruits; convenient facilities
I thought the $15 fee was very high.
The tour was good. It was well organized. The fruit was good! I have a fruit subscription and it is great see where the fruit is grown!
Our family enjoys coming to Andy's Orchard every year and picking fruit themselves in the amazing orchards. It's like an easter egg hunt with fruit. We enjoy hearing the historical details that Andy and his guides give on the tour.
We really enjoyed the cherry picking portion but were disappointed that there were not enough fruit for everyone to taste. We went on the first tour, and by the time we were back to do the fruit tasting, many items were gone so we didn't get to enjoy that portion of the day. I also wish we got to hear Andy speak about his orchard.

The event was well orchestrated, everthing seemed to flow nicely. Good signage, very friendly helpers at each station we went to (check in, tasting tables)
Very well organized; informative and personable tour guide who wanted to make sure that we were completely satisfied with our experience. Delicious fruit, and obvious concern for safety and hygiene.
Loved walking through the orchard with our kind and experienced guide, loved picking and nibbling varieties of cherries we'd never heard of. Super fun all the way around--and super yummy!
It was a great environment and experience. The tour guides were very informative. The cherries were second to none.
Knowledgeable tour guides, plenty of sampling, and a well stocked store. Thank you.
Thank you for cherry picking I move to Morgan Hill , 13 years ago, been going every year, is wonderful. Every body is so nice and I love the cherries. Ana Tosetti
The tour of the orchard was a bit disappointing. The guide wasn't very knowledgeable. I was really hoping for a short history of the orchards, some facts about cherry trees and also information about the different kinds of cherries and cherry trees. The tasting was great and I enjoyed that quite a bit.
They did a lot to make us feel welcome and provided the perfect survival gear: Ice cubes. The cherries are always amazing but I knew this going in so am not feigning surprise. If you are not used to heirloom fruit and shop at any grocery stores prepare to be amazed.
the various events at Andy's is something we look forward to all year --- the tasting area --- the farm tour --- just all perfect .. and once somebody tasted Andy's cherries/peaches/apricots everything in stores or farmers market are way below Andy's fruits
Best stone fruit you will ever taste!
My son and I have visited Andy's Orchard each year for several years and have greatly enjoyed every visit. The orchard tours are interesting and informative and picking cherries right off the trees is a lot of fun. In many ways the opportunity to taste a wide variety of cherries one will never see in a grocery store is the highlight of the day. I am always amazed that Andy is able to find so many different cherry varieties for us to sample.
Very well organized tour & tasting, even with so many attendees. I never knew there were so many kinds of cherries! The information provided on varietals, the history of the farm, pruning and farming techniques, it was all so interesting. I also appreciated the availability of bottled water, a nice touch on a hot day.
I thought they had such a huge selection of fruit to try, and I loved picking fruit out in the orchard. Everyone is always so nice and answered all my questions. Great family day.
Great family event and very organized!
Your orchards are a national treasure. We hope you continue your exemplary business for many decades to come. We had a great time and plan to come for the next tasting. Rave reviews all around.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I appreciated the fact that you spread out the tasting into two areas. It loosened the crowd a little. And picking fruit in the orchard was great fun. The only thing I would recommend, would be to give the guides who take visitors out into the fields, a map of the location of each variety of fruit so that we can pick more strategically.
The fruit was fabulous and so many different varieties. It's really easy to figure out what you like, what seems outstanding, and as importantly, what you don't really care for. The walk through the orchard is always interesting and it's great to see the drying process and just learn new things about stone fruit. Really, Andy's Orchard is a treasure in this day and age where the Valley of Heart's Delight has become Silicon Valley and people work in offices instead of orchards.
Fantastic experience. Learned so much about the different varieties of peaches and nectarines. Have been recommending tour and tasting to all of our friends.
Too crowded. Only got to taste only about half the fruit samples. How about having tickets for two separate start time groups (10am and 10:30am?)
I found the tour interesting and informative but rather brief. I enjoyed the opportunity to try the fruit and pick fruit in the orchard. A lot of the fruit out for tasting was rather green so I found tasting ripe fruit in the orchard to be a better indicator of flavor for peaches and nectarines especially. It was interesting to see the operations and orchard once. In the future I would be more likely to return if I could try a sample of the fruit for sale at the sale point and if the samples were from fully ripened fruit.
I was exhausted from carrying my box. Something with wheels on the roads to put the box on would have been helpful. I understand difficult to do.
Best place to taste a ton of different stone fruit including rare varieties. Got to pick some really good stone fruit afterwards
Loved the experience! Friendly environment, everyone worked with a smile on their faces
I thought the event was well organized. Andy was cheerful and enthusiastic as were all the volunteers. There was great variety of fruit to sample.
Great variety of delicious fruit to taste in a very friendly atmosphere. The tree fruit was plentiful and ripe for picking. Delicious!!
Lots of fruit types to sample. Tours should be a bit more organized and the sampling tables could be in some continuous order as to promote a line. But still the best.
