TLDR: Private, relaxed, and full of unforgettable spots - The safari tour on Moorea with Tamas was nothing short of amazing. We were actually the only people on the tour, and we were surprised it wasn’t cancelled. It ended up making the whole experience feel even more personal.
Every stop was great. We visited Belvedere Lookout where he shared interesting facts, and we also went to Magic Mountain and stopped for smoothies. Definitely bring cash or a card if you want one since it’s a popular spot for both tourists and locals.
What really stood out were the more private stops we didn’t expect. We went to a quiet beach with no one else around, and Tamas let us swim at our own pace while he prepared lunch. The food was excellent, and even as a picky eater, I really enjoyed it.
We also hiked to a hidden waterfall that he said not many people know about. The view was incredible and felt like a once in a lifetime experience. I’ve never hiked before, so I was a bit nervous, but we made it. It was definitely a challenge at times, but completely worth it in the end.
I’d recommend wearing sneakers with good grip. I was a little underprepared with my Adidas, but it was still manageable.
Overall, it was such a special and relaxed experience that I would highly recommend

Pierre was perfect. - Pierre was an awesome host. Knows the island very well, and put together an amazing lunch. Took us to a nice, secluded beach for a picnic, hiked to a waterfall, magic mountain overlook, and much more. Well worth the time and Pierre is very relaxed and friendly. Highly recommended this tour!

Excellent Tour and Guide - Excellent tour!! Our guide momo was great!!! Very nice and knowledgeable. The tour included an amazing lunch at a private beach. The 4x 4 ride was fun and a little adventurous. The hike to the waterfall was great. We got caught in a rain storm on the way down which actually made the entire even more magical.

Amazing day with Pierre - Pierre took us to amazing locations throughout the island, had an amazing lunch on a private beach and a hike up to an incredible waterfall. All along the way he was personable, and fun! Glad we were able to experience this tour with Pierre!!

Highlight of my time in Moorea! - Definitely a MUST! This tour was amazing. Highly recommend. One of the highlights of my first trip to Moorea, from the sight seeing, smoothies, lunch prepared on private beach, etc.

Excellent tour - checked all the boxes! - Tama was an excellent guide and an even better driver. Felt very safe on some sketchy terrain to/from Magic Mountain. He took us to beautiful lookout points and explained the history and significance of each. Lunch at the private beach spot was truly delicious, and now I need to figure out how to make Poisson Cru Chinois myself! Enjoyed a lovely swim in crystal clear water exploring the coral while lunch was prepared. Unfortunately, it is rainy season, so the skies opened up on us with a tropical downpour when we were half way up the waterfall trail. The trail was already uneven and muddy/slippery and the downpour was only going to make it worse, so we decided to turn back. Really appreciated Tama’s concern for our safety and showing us the safest places for our feet on the way down. If you want an open air tour to places air-conditioned busses can’t go with an authentic local guide, you can’t do better than Tama and Enjoy Moorea tours.

Nice day. - Interesting to visit a bit the nature side of Moorea. Tama drives well and, although I am not prone to vertigo or fearful, it is reassuring.
I had wonderful views. Unfortunately, the summit of the pierced mountain was in the clouds and the brightness not extraordinary. It is nature.
The stop at the small local market didn’t get me excited. Not super cute or pretty quality. Apart from the fruit juices, I don’t see any reason to stop there except to buy the fruit of the picnic.
The little piece of paradise where we had a picnic is very wild and pleasant.
Finally great to climb the waterfall (it had just rained heavily), Tama had the kindness and strength to help me go. A big thank you to him.
Note: watch out for nono injections. Nothing serious but unpleasant. I learned, after the fact at the hotel, that just rinse with cold water and the slight burns disappear instantly.
The small thing that makes me not give 5 stars is that the guide does not seem to know well the nature of his island that he told us too little about. Except for a couple of anecdotes.
