Make this your Day 1 activity in Montreal! - This is a great way to see a lot of Montreal in a half day. Martin is a very good guide! The bikes were brand new. The tour route was comprehensive and entertaining for teens and adults. My son ended up renting a bike for the rest of the day to ride the canal trail beyond the marketplace and felt confident he had “the lay of the land” from tour to ride around Montreal on his own. Excellent, friendly tour company and bike rental place!

Excellent - Highly recommend! My partner and I came from New York for a long weekend and I had not been on a bicycle since I was 10 years old. I had SO much fun! Rodrigo was our tour guide and he was so friendly and knowledgeable. We chose to use a regular bicycle instead of an e-bike so we could get some exercise. Although the tour truly is 3 hours, we never felt like it was too hard or tiresome. He made sure to give us a bathroom break at a local market and some time to explore for a few minutes. At the end he made some wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We took his suggestion for lunch after the tour and it was fantastic. I would highly recommend Fitz bike tours. Our group was small, the bicycles were very comfortable, and they didn’t make us wear a bright orange vest of tourist shame I noticed another bike tour doing to their gaggle of 25 tourists on bikes lol. Next time we are in Montreal we are planning to take the north city tour offered by Fitz!

JF provided a great bit tour of Downtown Montreal and Port! - I did a bike tour with JF of old downtown Montreal and the port. He was a great guide provided a lot of info about Quebec and Montreal. Also pointed out some restaurants and places to check out. A really nice way to see the highlights of Montreal. The bikes were in good condition as well.

Book this tour! - This was an awesome tour full of history and information of life in Montreal. The Fitz team was awesome, had bikes, helmets and maps ready for us. They gave a great safety briefing too and overall used all the amazing bike infrastructure in the city to move us safely about. Great tour! Book it! I would do it again.

Great ride with Martin - Very good rude. Martin was very knowledgeable about Montreal. He took us on a 3 hr tour hitting all the historical sites. It was windy but sunny. Really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

Exceptional - Highly recommended! We absolutely loved our bike tour. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the receptionist and then met our guide, Martin, and our fellow riders. The adventure began weaving through charming back-alley gardens and older neighborhoods where we discovered hidden, beautiful gardens — a wonderful tradition still kept alive. The tour continued through scenic parks and notable Montreal landmarks, including McGill University’s beautiful downtown campus, nestled at the base of Mount Royal with its grand architecture and lively student atmosphere. We also rode past the Bell Centre, home of the legendary Montreal Canadiens, before heading toward the Olympic Stadium, parts of Old Montreal, and other cultural highlights. Along the way, Martin shared fascinating stories about the city’s history and character, making every stop meaningful. We finished in the city’s newest districts, exploring the chic multi-unit complexes lining the canal. Martin was exceptional — knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate — making the entire experience truly unforgettable. The touring bikes were also very comfortable, adding to the enjoyment. Thank you for such a memorable morning and afternoon!

Good way to see the city. - It was an enjoyable day. The biking is on the easy side (especially on an ebike) with only one real hill that wasn’t that long. Chris was an excellent guide. Only reason I took a star away was because it felt like a lot of starting and stopping at traffic lights to wait for everyone in the group to catch up before proceeding, so felt like it moved a bit slow at times because of this.
