- United States Post Office and Courthouse—Montgomery - We will visit the courthouse to learn about Judge Johnson, who ruled in favor of Rosa Parks and made history.
- Freedom Rides Museum - The Freedom Riders bravely challenged segregation laws on buses, risking their lives to expose the inequality faced by Southern people. Their journey through Alabama and the attacks they endured will be recounted.
- Court Square - This renowned square was once a center for slave trading, the bus stop where Rosa Parks awaited her bus, the starting point of the Civil War, and much more.
- Dexter Avenue - As we walk along Dexter Avenue, stories of its history, the Selma to Montgomery March, and more will be shared.
- Chris’ Famous Hotdogs - We will visit this legendary restaurant, once a favorite of Martin Luther King Jr, Elvis, and several U.S. Presidents. It serves as a community gathering spot.
- Civil Rights Memorial Center - The memorial will be viewed, and the story of the marchers’ journey from Selma to Montgomery will be told.
