Amazing experience - Kevin was super attentive throughout. We booked the tour last minute. We booked the tour last minute and there was only English but Kevin knowing we spoke Spanish was watching for us to understand. You could tell his knowledge. 100% recommended and especially that you touch kevin!

After Dark: A Night Hike to Remember - We had an incredible night hike with Kevin. The wildlife encounters were exceptional — we spotted scorpions carrying their babies, a keel-billed toucan, a nine-banded armadillo, a mot-mot, and a pit viper. We also discovered fascinating insects, including a moss walking stick and a regular walking stick, alongside several frog species: the slim-fingered rain frog, the emerald tree frog, and the golden-spotted rain frog. The orange-kneed tarantula was a highlight in itself — but the most unforgettable moment of the night was witnessing a mother and baby sloth descend from their tree. Sloths only make this journey once a week to relieve themselves before climbing back up, making it an extraordinarily rare and special thing to witness.

Great tour with Kevin - A wonderful experience. Our guide Kevin was knowledgeable, passionate, and considerate. He did a great job finding a wide variety of creatures both expected and unexpected while making sure everyone in the group got a chance to see everything and was having a good time. He also took very high quality photos for us and distributed them to the group afterwards.

Magical Night Hike at Finca Lantana—A Hidden World After Dark 🌙🦎 - Our 2-hour night hike at Finca Lantana Monteverde was nothing short of magical and an absolute must-do experience!
From the moment we stepped into the forest after dark, it felt like entering a completely different world. The sounds, the cool night air, and the thrill of not knowing what we’d discover next made the entire experience so exciting. And somehow, our guide seemed to spot everything! Creatures we would have walked right past suddenly came into view. Colorful frogs, sleeping birds, fascinating insects, and even well-camouflaged animals tucked into the trees.
What made this hike truly special was how interactive and engaging it was. Our guide took the time to explain what we were seeing, share interesting facts, and make sure everyone had a chance to observe each animal up close. You could really feel his passion for the ecosystem and their respect for the wildlife.
The pace was perfect. Relaxed enough to take it all in, but never dull. Every few steps brought a new surprise, and the sense of wonder just kept building.
If you’re in Monteverde, don’t skip a night hike. Kevin was amazing, and this experience at Finca Lantana was unforgettable and easily one of the highlights of our trip. 🌙✨🐸

What a a special night tour with our fantastic guide Kevin Rodriguez ☺️ - Our guide Kevin Rodriguez was fantastic in showing the nightlife in Finca Lantana on our 2 hr night tour. We saw a Sloth and it's baby, a pigmy frog, a toucan, a MOT MOT, a tarantula, a viper, a little armadillo, a howler monkey. What a special experience.He was considerate to make sure everyone in our group got a photo of everything we saw.

Do it! - This was our second night tour (we did our first in La Fortuna), and this one absolutely took the cake. The wildlife sightings were incredible—we saw a sloth, howler monkey, snake, scorpion, glass frog, several other frogs, and even toucans.
The hike itself was enjoyable and well-paced, and the price was very reasonable for everything we experienced. Our guide, Kevin, was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about what he does, which made the whole experience even better.
If you’re considering a night tour, definitely go with this one. Highly recommend! PS- he took the pics for me.

Great night walk - It was a great experience the night walk we had, our guide Kevin was very attentive and patient with our son and really interested in us seeing as many animals and insects as possible. We really enjoyed this ride.
