The first stop is Monteriggioni for a complimentary visit to the castle: Monteriggioni is a fortress established by the Sienese between 1213 and 1219 as a defense against the Florentines. Historically, Monteriggioni was renowned as an unassailable stronghold. Today, within the castle, visitors can explore the museum of Medieval Weapons and stroll along the ancient defensive walls. Additionally, there is an excellent winery inside the castle for guests to enjoy!

• San Gimignano - The second stop is San Gimignano for a complimentary visit to the medieval village.

San Gimignano is a quaint walled medieval hill town, close to Siena, known as the Town of “Fine Towers.” The town resembles an open-air museum, and the knowledgeable driver will guide guests to the best sights and flavors. San Gimignano is celebrated for saffron, the Golden Ham, and its white wine, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, made from the ancient Vernaccia grape variety grown on the sandstone hills. In the main square, visitors should not miss the opportunity to savor the world’s best ice cream at Gelateria Dondoli.

  Before reaching Florence, guests can request the driver to suggest a lovely farm for lunch. Along the wine route, there is a chance to sample famous wines and other local specialties such as olive oil, Sienese sweets, cheeses, balsamic vinegar, and truffles at a super Tuscan farm.
