Kelleys 50th birthday celebration .. - The boat was very comfortable and clean .. Easy viewing from all directions .. Staff was very professional and amazing Snack bar attendant was very nice Naturalist was very informative about the whales and dolphins..

Amazing experience - What a fantastic experience! We went out on Thursday 23rd April 2026 at 9am. On the way out we seen a pod of around 15 dolphins, we seen a little otter, some seals! Whilst on tour we seen a lone whale but THEN a mother & baby!!!! They were around 10m from boat (due to their own choice) & it was amazing. The baby was only around 2-3 months old but had been attacked by something and had visible injuries. Some tips: wrap up! It’s chilly out there. If you forget anything there is joggers, hoodies, hats, caps and gloves onboard. There is hot drinks & some snacks. Guide VERY informative! Really enjoyed it.

Today I went whale... - Today I went whale watching in Monterey, and it turned into one of the most unforgettable experiences. I saw gray whales calmly surfacing and diving, but the highlight was spotting an orca—even if just for a second. Seeing that tall dorsal fin and its distinctive saddle patch in real life was incredible. I was so excited I couldn’t stop cheering. It made me realize how special it is to witness wildlife in their natural habitat. Even though sightings were limited, I felt incredibly lucky and happy. Definitely worth it, and I would love to go again someday.

We saw Orcas! - The captain drove us exactly where the orcas were! We saw a whole pod- it was amazing! The naturalist was able to answer all our questions! So glad we did this!

Outstanding Crew and Truly Memorable Experience - We had a wonderful experience with Mountain View Whale Watching. What stood out the most was how incredibly attentive and thoughtful the crew and staff were. They truly made our trip enjoyable from start to finish. They took great care of every passenger and made sure everyone felt comfortable and well looked after. The explanations throughout the trip were also excellent—clear, engaging, and delivered with genuine care. You can tell the team is passionate about what they do. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

Good option on a large boat - This was well organised and had well informed staff. Sadly we didnt see any whales but got a lifetime raincheck voucher.

Good Attention but wrong course - Well, there were no whales for the course that the boat took (Carmel by the Sea) if it had gone to Moss Landing there was a herd of Orcas
