St James Parish Church - Dedicated to St. James the Great, the patron Saint of Spain, the St. James Parish Church was constructed between 1775 and 1782. Built from white limestone, the church features a Greek cross plan with a bell tower at the west end. It boasts large, round-headed sash windows and an intricate Palladian window behind the altar. Although the church suffered significant damage during the 1951 earthquake, restoration efforts maintained the original design with only minor changes.

The Cage - This prominent historic stone structure, located in the heart of Montego Bay, was built in 1806. Initially serving as a temporary holding area for runaway slaves, unruly seamen, and other so-called vagrants, the Cage was originally made of wood. Due to damage caused by its occupants, it was reconstructed in stone. In 1811, a belfry was added, and the bell was used to signal country slaves to leave town, ringing at 2:00 pm and again at 3:00 pm. Afterward, any so-called vagrant individuals found on the streets were detained.
