The transfer from the airport to the Riu Hotel was perfect and our rep, Sandra Holness was excellent!! - The transfer from Montego Bay to the Riu Ocho Rios was excellent. It was easy to find the representative at the airport, and the ride was very comfortable. When we got to the hotel, we were met by Sandra Holness, aka Mama Sunshine, who was warm and inviting. She made sure that we knew that there was an information welcome meeting the next morning. As my sister is still recovering from a stem cell transplant, we didn’t book any excursions. But Sandra continued to be there to answer our questions and greeted us warmly every time we saw her. She made us feel very comfortable and is a great representation of the Jamaican hospitality. Thanks so much, Sandra, God bless and have a merry Christmas. We will be back for sure.

Good way to get to the hotel - It was fine, AC did work, there were seatbelts which was appreciated. Felt safe enough, don't think private transport makes sense for such a short drive.

Ride share - Drive was great but I was given wrong directions of where he would be so once we finally got that figured out we were good to go.

Drug dealing Bus Drivers - The drivers are either selling drugs or alcohol on a regular basis, which is extremely concerning. Administration is equally problematic—emails were sent to someone in our group under the wrong name, and although I received a QR code, my name was not included on the driver’s list. When I contacted customer service, the experience was unacceptable. The conversation was repeatedly ended, and within eight minutes I was forced to retell my situation five separate times. The fact that this company operates as a monopoly in this space makes the situation even more troubling, as customers have no meaningful alternative despite consistently poor service.

A Nightmare experience, using Nextustours! - My family and I went to Negril for a destination wedding! We've been to Negril many times, so when someone in the group suggeted Nexuxtours, I said ok. Over the years, we simply took a taxi to Negril, which is approximately a two hour ride. We decided to buy a round trip vocher for the bus. We arrived in Montego Bay at 11:30am. Got through immigrations and the whole process within an hour. We found the driver, who showed us the bus to get on. We waited on the bus, over an hour. I wondered what was going on, then realized, they were trying to fill up the bus. People started complaining about the wait, and we finally took off to Negril. The ride became even longer, with all the stops, we got to the Royalton resort at 4:30pm! I knocked off the frustration, went inside the beautiful resort, and got our room. After a spectacular time with family and friends, and the beautiful wedding we experienced, it was time to go home. Our flight was changed by the airline. It was delayed, so I went the Nexustour representative, to change our time and make reservationns for 9:30am, departure on the bus. The representative assurred me everything was set for the next day. She actually later sent a text to inform us a pickup time for the bus, would be 9:30am. We also made arrangements with the bellman, to be picked up at 9:15am. We arrive in the lobby ontime, at 9:20am. I'm closing out the bill, when my adult daughters runs inside to inform me that the bus driver said our names were'nt on the list, and drove off! What do you mean he drove off?! Did he bother to ask questions? She said no, he just drove off! Well now I'm upset. I called the tour company, who is inside the resort, and they said to wait for a representative to come down to the lobby. I waited until I could wait no longer, no one showed up! I went with a hotel representative, to find out why this guy left us, and what were they going to do about it. They litterally said there was nothing they could do, I would have to get a taxi, and send the receipt to their company! Well, luckily we still had family at the resort, that had arranged a taxi going back to the airport, because they refused to take the bus back to the airport! We paid an additional $120.00. In conclusion, we are still waiting to hear from Nexustours! It's been a month, no refund and no response from this company! I'm angry at myself, because I am a world traveller, and using any business for the first time, I check reviews! When I got back home, I did check the reviews. Their company is terrible. Had I read the reviews, I would have definately not taken them! My hope is that someone will read my review, and just say NO!
