Amazing experience at Secrets at Wild Orchid - We had an amazing experience at Secrets Wild Orchid. Food was amazing at World Cafe, El Patio, the hibachi restaurant, and Blue Mountain. We were not able to try the Italian or French restaurants. Our room was the preferred club swim out ocean front king. Room was nice and clean. Extremely nice and welcoming staff. Had a Butler which was a surprise for me! His name was Devon, and he was absolutely the best! He made the whole stay go smoothly. He accommodated everything. Very informative and extremely patient. We had dinner reservations for almost every night without asking. Preferred club status also gets you access to neighboring Breathless resort. The rooftop restaurant had live music and beautiful views of the surrounding area and hillside communities. The preferred club was worth the extra money for the butler alone, but there were other amenities such as reserved poolside and beach seating (With a stocked cooler) special lounge access.

Team Snow Canada - Darwin and Andre made this the most fabulous trip ever!! They pampered us and made us feel like family!! We can’t thank them enough for making Jamaica our second home!!

Apple Vacations Failed to Protect customers- Unsafe experience at RIU Montego Bay - We booked our trip to RIU Montego Bay through Apple Vacations, and what happened was absolutely unacceptable. One night, another guest attempted to break into our room. After failing, he urinated and defecated outside our door. This was disgusting, unsafe, and traumatizing. resort staff removed the man from our doorway but then allowed him to return to his room without consequences. Management admitted they had "no authority" to compensate us. We escalated to RIU corporate, who denied responsibility and pushe us off to Apple Vacations. Apple then came back with a so called resolution: a $150 travel credit. That's it. Offering a token credit for such a serious safety and sanitation failure is insulting. This wasn't a missed excursion or a room with no view, this was a breach of guest safety that ruined our stay. Apple Vacations should be advocating for their customers and holding resorts accountable, not minimizing traumatic experiences. I want travelers to know : if something goes wrong, Apple Vacations will not stand behind you. Be very cautious booking through them.

THIS IS NOT 5 STAR, NEVER AGAIN - terrible resort, claim 9 restaurants, however only 3 are open, and if you do not go at 17:45 to que, you will not even get seated until 8-830, (food nothing special, constantly hungry) waited 1hr 20 for a drink after being seated, staff are incredibly rude and tip expectant, for everything. I tipped 120 times got thanked 3 times. full of American's, and if that's ok, you will love the 1500 guest they drop off each week from crew ship. and they clearly only cater for the USA. you have to get up at 5:45am to get a sunbed and when you pay £8000 for 10 days, you don't expect to have to get up that early every day, and que daily to eat, room service a joke unless you pay £10 tip daily they may restock your fridge, he didn't once the entire stay, staff couldn't care less. disgusted at services, rooms, food &staff, if you want luxury? look elsewhere
