The tour was a... - The tour was a fascinating dive into the rich history and vibrant culture of Old Town Mombasa. Wandering through the narrow streets lined with Swahili architecture and centuries-old buildings felt like stepping back in time. Fort Jesus was especially impressive—our guide shared captivating stories about its strategic importance and the battles it witnessed.
While the guide did arrive a little late, once the tour began, his passion and knowledge more than made up for it. They answered questions thoughtfully and added personal insights that brought the history to life. Overall, a memorable experience that’s well worth it for history buffs and curious travellers alike.

Unique experience - We are very happy to have made this tour and thereby got special impressions that we would not have had as normal tourists.
Humphrey told us just the right amount of lively information, but also answered all questions patiently and knowingly.
The trip to the spice market was our highlight.

Fort Jesus; Just do it. - Very nice experience. The guide was well-informed throughout. She had abundant information on Fort Jesus, as well as the surrounding area.
She also brought me to other places a tourist might find interesting like a place selling precious stones and metals, a spice bazaar, and different food outlets.
It's a half-day well spent. Depending on the weather wear sunscreen and bring water, because you'll walk a few kilometers in the sun.
I strongly recommend.

Beautiful and informative trip in Mombasa - It was a very nice and informative trip.
Humphrey gave us a lot of information about the cultures and life in Fort Jesus and the old town of Mombasa.
The tour was individually adapted to our interests and needs, it was a very nice afternoon!

Mombasa Old Town - While the trip from our hotel at Diani Beach was only 30 minutes, the difference between the city life and beach life is stark. Fort Jesus was impressive and the Vegetable Market was eye-opening, the Tusks provideda great photo op . I would recommend a half day for this experience as that's enough time to enjoy the sights and sounds.
