- Hampton Court Palace - Upon entering through the Tudor Gatehouse, it feels as if one has traveled back to the 16th Century. Together, the group will explore the courtyards and Tudor Kitchens, experiencing the aromas and sounds of a bustling environment where lavish meals were prepared by numerous servants for King Henry VIII’s Court. The tour will ascend to the upper floors to admire the splendid Tudor State Apartments, showcasing some of the finest artwork and tapestries of the era, including the Abraham Tapestries and the painting of the Family of Henry VIII. Visitors will walk through the Great Hall and along the Haunted Gallery, where the guide will share the ghost story of Catherine Howard, King Henry VIII’s ill-fated fifth wife. The tour will then proceed to the Baroque section of the palace, constructed in 1689 by Queen Mary II & King William III to rival Versailles near Paris. The magnificent gardens will be explored, featuring the world-famous hedge Maze, the Great Vine, the Royal Tennis Court, and the King’s Privy Garden.

Hampton Court is a unique blend of two architectural styles: the 16th century Tudor and Wren’s 17th century Baroque. Visitors will marvel at the stunning artworks in the State Apartments, the Astronomical Clock, kitchens, wine cellars, gardens, and perhaps even encounter a ghost! Please be aware that the Chapel may be closed on Sundays.
