Great Staff - Unfortunately my autistic teenage daughter had a full meltdown in the ticket office. Immediately the absolutely GLORIOUS staff members (shout out to Noleen & a lovely dark haired young woman there) were BRILLIANT: sensitive, thoughtful and genuinely helpful. Honestly the best assistance we’ve ever had at any attraction. They saved the day. Then I lost my Carers Card in the car park - within 24hrs the staff had traced me and returned it. 5 stars, absolutely no notes. Give the staff a raise

Utterly brilliant - What a brilliant day! There was so much more to see than I expected, and some beautiful and imaginative interpretation only added to the experience. The roaring fire in the Tudor kitchen was a lovely touch, and the audio-visual installation in the Council Chamber was enthralling. Lots of seats everywhere so you could rest and/or soak it all in, and friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand to answer any questions. We used the free audio guide and found it great - informative but not too long-winded. We deliberately visited in early September to avoid school holiday time, and were stunned at how quiet it was. We also felt there were some spaces people just didn’t bother with - we had the Cumberland Gallery completely to ourselves! It contains some stunning works from the Royal Collection, we felt privileged to have a private viewing. Only one downside - the cafes were on the expensive side.

Great Day Out - Fascinating visit, I would have preferred some of the printed information on the walls to have been clearer - if you have poor eyesight, can be tricky to read. Lots of different things to see and interesting for all ages. Very helpful staff. Nice restaurants, lovely gardens and the best playground I've seen in years. Parking is limited but the station car park is quite close

Must visit - If you love the Tudors, Jacobean or William III, then this is a must visit place. Beautiful gardens and lots of entertainment for everyone. The inside is amazing lots of things to read. Tudor world is a MUST VISIT as it has original items from that time. Had a great day and would happily go again. Plenty to do and can easily spend all day there, from the time it opens until the time it closes

Well worth the visit - From start to finish a thoroughly enthralling day for many reasons. The architecture itself is something to be marvelled at with several different periods of building. The displays and periods are all nicely cut into time segments so that after one you can switch off, have a break and then continue. The audio guide is informative but not boring. The opening section gives the basic information and if you want more then there are extra sections with greater detail to select from. It fits and works easily and comfortably. My wife was not going to have one but was persuaded to do so by the staff and she really was glad that she had done. Throughout the site there are an abundance of guides and staff who are both helpful and knowledgeable if asked questions. Needs the best part of a day to do it justice.

Superb building - The building is vast, has interiors from different periods (the wooden ceilings of the Tudor period are splendid) and beautiful gardens. Audio guide available for the tour, which requires a minimum of 2 to 3 hours to be done well. The kitchens are huge.

Great day out. Shame about some rude visitors. - Had a great day out. The kids loved the park,Peter rabbit trail and maze. The house is lovely and the staff knowledge is great. Have to point out that some of the signs are confusing and not clear which way things are. Some very rude visitors also pushing children out the way.

Wheelchair access good in Palace but not gardens - Visiting with a wheelchair ..... staff in Palace were absolutely great and the visit, complemented by the actors, was amazing. The gardens, however, were a different story ...... thick chippings made it impossible to push the chair around the gardens which was really sad because so much was inaccessible. I appreciate that there is extensive footfall but please could I suggest a more stable surfaced path for wheelchair users? Thank you!

Crazy overpriced - Overpriced. And not just the palace. The parking cost us $160 as we couldn't get the Ringgo app to work and there's no other way to park. This put quite a pall on the visit, so the main thing I came away with was how underfurnished it was. Outside of the gardens and art collection, the castled seemed underwhelming.
