Great tour! - Thoroughly enjoyed this day tour from Surabaya. Our guide Agus and driver arrived in advance and messaged on WhatsApp when they arrived.
Agus was very knowledgable and skillfully explained the history of the Majapahit Kingdom and its role in the region over time on the way to the sites. He then able to point out many of the aspects of the history as we toured the artefact sites. The tour left me much more informed about the regions history - which I knew essentially nothing about prior. As I was staying at the Majapahit hotel it lined up well with the story behind the name!
Bottled water was included, along with a stop for light drinks (iced tea/coffee etc.) and then an additional stop for lunch - both included. Modern bathrooms were available at both stops. The lunch menu was quite extensive and had some meat free options as well.
Overall a fantastic day and so glad we did this tour!

Very educational, Fun trip. - Very nice and educational tour. With a 13-year-old teenager in the heat, it might be a little too much. Very good English speaking guide, knew a lot to tell. Also remember very good and neat driver. The trip is definitely worth it.

Great day trip experience and catered to vegetarians. - My family of 4 really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Agus, was excellent, providing us with a great understanding of the significance of the sites and their historical and cultural background. The overall scale of Towulan was fascinating and each site has its own character and was well explained. The museum stop covered a lot of ground and Agus was able to explain to us many of the artifacts that did not have english language explanations (some sections did have english language also).
We were picked up at around 9:30 from our hotel in Surabaya and returned around 4:30. The included lunch stop was able to cater to our vegetarian diet and was tasty.
Overall a great experience and definitely something I would recommend to friends visiting this part of Java!

Such a great tour! - Private tour with a very knowledgeable guide, Mr. Suryono, conveying various scientific theories, beliefs and myths from each place visited. Since I am also a guide in Bali, I realize how complicated it is to be a guide or organize a historical tour in East Java which is like a puzzle piece. The driver's service is also extraordinary, feeling like a queen for a day 🤣 Thank you to the people of East Java, especially Trowulan and East Journey Travel, who still maintain this history and site well. I hope this tour can reach out to more people. Private tour made us comfortable, delicious food, always ensure our comfort. Just need to sit back and go home with great knowledge😁Really wanna rejoin and explore more!

A really great tour with a knowledge guide! - This was a wonderful tour with beautiful scenery and sights. Our tour guide Agus was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with. My friends and I were picked up on time in a nice clean van with lots of space. The whole trip went very smoothly and it was a great way to see some historical sights in beautiful settings, along with some of the countryside outside of Surabaya. We’re very glad we chose this tour.

An interesting and pleasant tour - This was an interesting, very informative tour. The guide (Agus) knows a lot and explained everything in detail. He is also a very nice guy and helpful. The bus was very convenient. Altogether a very nice tour.

Beautiful temples - Nice excursion to museum and multiple beautiful temple sites around the Trowulan area. Most of the temples had no other visitors, or very few, so they were very peaceful. My guide Djoko was great.
