Superb 2-day tour in Trujillo with Dilser - Dilser was an amazing guide for my family for two days in a row. We did the Huacas de Luna y Sol + Chan Chan and also El Brujo + Lady Cao the day before.
He’s very responsive and accommodating (we arranged these with him last-minute), and he’s incredibly knowledgeable about anything you’d want to ask about—from the Moche and Chimú cultures, traditions, history, religion, and art, to recent local history like how the area has changed over the years and what it’s like living there.
He’s flexible: you can take a long lunch if you want, and we beat some of the crowds by heading out earlier than usual. His English is also quite good, and he handled the chaotic city and dirt roads alike with a calm cheeriness. The whole experience was great, we listened to fun music in the car and could sleep or engage more deeply as we liked. A very comfortable and enriching experience overall. We also loved the seafood lunches in Huanchaco.
I hear he handles tours all throughout the north of Peru (hence the company name), so even though we stayed near Trujillo for our tours, it sounds like he’s been all over, so I’d recommend him for anything. Chan Chan and the Lady of Cao were particularly amazing to see, very worth the trip.

Magnificent guided tour of the Trujillo area. - Dilser, our guide in Trujillo, was extraordinary. His deep knowledge of history and archaeological sites is impressive; he answers any questions in detail and clarity. What we liked the most was the warmth and humanity with which he guided us. It is rating that his work is passionate and that he has a great love for his culture. He transmitted his pride and knowledge in a very natural way, making our visit educational and at the same time, very close. We definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to know the North of this beautiful country.

A beautiful cultural discovery - We had a great day with our guide Maritza. His explanations in French allowed us to easily access the history of the Moché, the Chimus. Chan Chan’s visit plunged us into a time we did not know. We enjoyed the lunch break around Cevichés, specialties.

Amazing days in Trujillo with the best guides - It has been an amazing few days in Trujillo. Dilser is an excellent guide who has taken us to know the Huacas del Sol y la Luna, Chan Chan, Huanchaco and the Lady of Cao. All amazing and worth knowing! A good site-seeing experience.. - The tour was mostly good. The guide Eugenia was very knowledgeable about the sites (the temple at Siero Blanco and Chan Chan.) She was also a good conversationalist. The driver was very skilled and it always seemed safe when we were on the road. He was also engaging and friendly.
The restaurant which they suggested for lunch was pretty mid. I should have done my own research ahead of time, I guess.
