La Huaca del Sol - We begin our journey early, departing from the south of Trujillo towards the Huacas Sol y Luna, the principal temples of the Moche civilization in Northern Peru, which governed this region of Trujillo and its valleys for approximately 800 years.
We explore the Huaca de la Luna to admire the finest reliefs and original clay friezes that have retained their vibrant colors.
Discover the Huaca del Sol, remarkable for its size and construction using millions of adobe bricks.
Uncover the treasures from the excavations at the Huacas Sol y Luna Archaeological Complex, showcased in the Site Museum.
Traveling north of Trujillo, it’s time to learn about the evolution of the Moche culture, which paved the way for the Chimu Culture with its magnificent city of Chan Chan and its surrounding Huacas.

The most significant discovery of the Lady of Cao is located in this valley, a female ruler from Moche times who today symbolizes female governance and leadership in ancient Peru.
Her body was found adorned with gold and silver jewelry, indicating her rank and social status in the Mochica culture; however, the most fascinating aspect is her perfectly preserved body, with tattoos of snakes and spiders still visible.

Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum - We visit the Sican Museum, a modern facility where the jewels and remains of significant figures in Sican society are displayed.
Their jewels are impressive for their weight, design, and craftsmanship, each piece meticulously crafted and serving as symbols of rank during the Sican culture.
Next, we explore the Valley of the Pyramids of Tucume, consisting of 26 adobe pyramids, considered the largest in South America. We will have the opportunity to walk around them and access the Cerro El Purgatorio viewpoint for a panoramic view of the entire valley.
After lunch, we visit the highly anticipated Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum, ranked among the top 10 museums in the world. This museum preserves all the jewels (nose rings, earmuffs, pectorals, necklaces, and bracelets), ceramics, and the body of the Lord of Sipan and his ancestors.

Chachapoyas - A 10-hour journey to Chachapoyas, crossing from the coast to the northern highlands of Peru.

Fortaleza de Kuelap - A day of exploration and appreciation of the grand Kuelap, Fortress of the Chachapoyas, with its 20-meter-high walls.
